I called three different survey companies found in the yellow pages of the phone book to get estimates for marking the property boundary prior to installing a fence and having some construction done. The property is 5 acres with at least half wooded including some dense undergrowth areas. When I called Cornerstone, they immediately looked up the property and recognized it as being part of a subdivision they had done the orginal surveying for. As a result, they quoted a price about 20-30% less than the other survey companies. After describing why I needed the survey done, they said they would put in additional markers along the property line to make it easy to install the fence. I also requested that they call ahead of the planned survey date so I could take the day off to know where my property lines were.

The survey crew showed up about a week later unexpectedly which I wasn't too happy about. However, my primary contact at Cornerstone immediately called me to apologize and took full responsibility for not calling me ahead of time. He even offered to come out at my convience to walk the property lines with me. I found this to be very professional and focused on satisfying the customer.

When I got home later that evening, I found that the crew had done an excellent job. True to their word, they had placed extra markers along the property line and it was very easy to identify where this line was around the entire 5 acres. They even cleared the dense undergrowth in areas so you could see straight down each line between corner posts. All markers were clearly identified, corner posts marked, and reference points established matching my original survey. As a result, it was probably better that I wasn't home to distract them.

The invoice was in the lower half of the price range quoted to me over the phone.They had even gone the extra step to update courthouse records with this latest survey.

The bottom line is that this company did an excellent job exceeding my expectations and I would recommend them to others to use.
