They do great work and are very pleasant and professional.

Styer was responsive and helpful. They found what we wanted in December and made good suggestions concerning our requests. The install team did an excellent job. I'd use them again. Price might seem a little high but everything is still alive and doing well and of course it's guaranteed.

It was great. One of their managers came out a day or two after I first called and we walked around the yard; a few days later he emailed me a proposal and answered all my questions. I had to leave town for a family emergency and Styer took care of everything; even came by for a few days after work to turn on the sprinklers for the sod while I was still out of town. Came home and everything looked great.

He responded quickly, offered helpful advice on how the job should be done, and his crew did excellent work.

Bruce came out and provided a very detailed estimate and I was impressed with is overall knowledge of the individual plants throughout my yard. They came out and performed above and beyond what was promised and in the end they came in under the agreed upon estimate. Great work!

I've used Styer through the years for a variety of lawn and garden work. From mulching to weeding to mowing the lawn and cutting the bushes, they are always professional and always do a great job. If they make a mistake, they own up to it and make it better. They're not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend!

He is very good and does great work, however his price is very high. His customers get what they pay for and again he is honest and reliable.

The price was good. He was supposed to come the week before and he apologized that he wasn't able to come then. He did come the following Friday like he said. He called me about 3 pm the day they were supposed to come out to tell me that they were not going to be able to make it so he did cancel the first time. He was supposed to call on Monday or Tuesday to set up the time to come that Friday. He never called and they just showed up. They did a good job.

We were looking for an update to our landscaping after pulling out all of the old shrubbery that was in place when we moved in. Our goal was to add some organic color and texture, without going overboard on the formality or the budget. We called several other places for an estimate, but the wait was too long or there was simply no response, possibly because we did so at a very busy time of year (May). When we found Styer's on Angie's List, we called, received a response in less than a day, and had Troy out to our house within another day for a late afternoon (post-work=convenient appointment). After we walked the yard with him, shared what we were hoping for, he worked up the figures, came up with a design, and emailed it to us in less than a week. After reviewing the plant suggestions online, firming up the quote and some loose ends with him all over email (again = convenient), we had a date set for June 13. They came on the set date, and did the work while we were at work. Coming home to the finished product and knowing that we felt the price was very reasonable made for some very happy customers. We would definitely work again with and/or recommend Styer's.

Very punctual, professional and responsive. Knowledgeable and experienced! We plan to have them return in the fall for more yeard work and to plant winter pansies.

I thought we needed to take out our old lawn and put in sod. Styer landscaping said that would cost us $4,000, and that they would simply recommend aerating, dethatching, and seeding, and gave us a quote (for about 4,000 sq. ft) of just under $400. I asked them to some additional landscaping work for a total price of $1,000. They did a great job, and I am very pleased with the results. Would definitely use them again.

It went very well. There was a sprinkler head problem because of trying to water the sod. When they couldn't repair it, they called a professional from an irrigation company to fix it immediately. This all happened on a Friday afternoon. They told of the problem, the manager called me to make sure I had been told of the problem and then said they would have someone out immediately to fix it and their representative wouldn't leave until it was fixed. This all came true. The work they did looked terrific.

I had difficulty maintaining a healthy lawn in some areas of my front and rear yards. Additionally, because the rear yard was bare in some spots, rain water cascaded from the yard to the patio and caused excessive mud and water run-off onto the patio and carport driveway. We tried to install sod in the affected areas ourselves and, although the thickness of the sod grass helped contain the run-off, we obviously did not do an adequate job with the installation and that grass also died. Styer Landscaping had done such great work for us several years ago, we decided to contact the company and have them grade and prepare the area properly and to install the sod. As we experienced previously, Bruce Styer scheduled someone to come to the property to provide an estimate and, upon our agreement, sent a crew and overseer to take care of the work. They arrived according to schedule, completed the work in a highly professional manner and cleaned up any and all debris. The bill was rendered promplty and accurately. We could not be happier with this company and its dedication to performance excellence!!

I was impressed with the design they had come up with. The yard is beautiful. They were on time every day and the job had been quoted exactly. I would highly recommend Styer Landscaping.

I have recommended this company before because we are very happy how the yard turned out. He did exactly what we wanted done. We paid several thousands, I don't remember the exact dollar amount. It was more than fair. The work is high quality and professional.

I hired a designer to do the layout of my yard. This company was able to make the plans come alive. They purchased all the trees, shrubs and flowers. Everything was planted according to the layout. The staff is very good, very nice and responsive. I had some perennials die and they came out and replaced them. I had some other flowers start to die. They came out looked me right in the eye and said I am sorry. They replaced those plants as well. I appreciate the time they spent on my yard as it is a relatively small job for them.
