WE'RE HERE FOR GOOD The Y's goal is to strengthen our community though programs that promote a healthy spirit, mind and body. We do this each day through our Wellness Centers and exercise programs, through activities that enrich our children, and by giving 1.1 million dollars in financial assistance to those who need it. We know that the more people we welcome into our Ys, the more we are able to strengthen our community. One in nine people in the Roanoke Valley has turned to the Y for programs and services. They come for exercise, swim lessons, sports and dance programs, afterschool childcare, family activities, recreation and community. You know that we're here for you because the Y has been a part of the Valley since 1883. In fact, we're part of one of the largest community service organizations in the U.S. We count on the generosity of our members and partners to keep our doors open to all people who need a place to go to help them be more healthy, confident, connected and secure.
