I hired Eric and his crew to install about 120' of fencing with two gates, as well as a small retaining wall. The wall came out well. The fence has been built three times, and still looks terrible. There are blobs of concrete above ground at the posts which do nothing to secure the fence, so my dogs and the wind can move it around at will. There are nails sticking through the 2x4s. Interior trim nails were originally used, the solution was driving a single, too-long, nail through the boards. The top of the fence is up and down all over the place. There's no support on the gates, so they've sagged to the point that you have to lift them to open them. The boards were spaced apart so much that as they've shrunk, I have large gaps between them. And they didn't use a level when putting the fence boards up, so everything is at an angle. All of these issues were pointed out to Mr. Weisman in person, who assured me they'd be corrected. Each successive time the fence has been rebuilt, not only have the problems not been fixed, it looks worse each time. Since this last "fix", Eric's been out of contact. On top of that, the slab at the base of the retaining wall was cut, and the bare space was filled in with Quickcrete and not finished. No holes were filled in the yard, there's cigarette butts and trash all over their workspace, and my driveway is a mess. The gravel that was delivered was dumped in the street; the cleanup fell on me after he listed the remainder on FB Marketplace. I'm now out several thousand dollars, and I'm going to have to pay another contractor to remove and replace this fence. Do yourself a favor and use a different contractor.

I hired Weisman Enterprises to install a wooden fence on my property. Eric the owner is very personable and I felt good about hiring him. And then the problems started. He didn't start when he said he would. He would drop off 2 guys and they would work for a couple of hours and disappear. This went on for weeks. I had to tell them if a post was sticking up too high or something else was wonky with the fence. I am NOT A FENCING INSTALLER. After the work was completed I received notice that the fence was on the neighbors property. I personally walked MY property with Eric and showed him the property stakes and told him to stay inside the property lines BEFORE he installed the fence. When I told him that the fence had to be moved, he did not stand by his work and move the fence at his own expense. He expected me to pay another $1,500 for him to move the fence that he put in the wrong place. His guys were slow and did not complete the work in the time that Eric's contract stated the work would be completed. His contract that he had me sign stated the project would take one week. It took 3 weeks and there was one day of weather delay so it wasn't because of weather. We also contracted for him to install a parking space. He did not measure the parking space to ensure that it was at industry standards of 16-18 feet and a car won't fit in the parking space. He did not offer to correct that error at his own expense either. He did not know the codes of the county to make sure that my fence would be in compliance. He did not bury the conrete at the posts so that it wouldn't show in the yard. Just careless and shoddy work because he didn't manage the guys he had doing the work. I feel like I got taken advantage of by a contractor. I'm a little 61 year old white haired lady so if you can't manage his workers and make sure that the work is exactly how you like it, you need to hire someone else who stands by their work.
