Terminix - Roanoke -Termite & Pest Control

Since that one-time use we have been barraged with calls at all times of day and night to sign up for quarterly service at twice the price!! We had no ant problem until they sprayed. Now we do!! Never associate with them again!!

Sales Rep messed up the original appointment due to a lack of communication on his part (he never got back to me re a firm date) so they showed up when I was not home. Rescheduled. They arrived an hour late (8-9 became 10:15) and again, the communication was lacking. I greeted them at the garage door & got nary a response. I stood there for a couple of minutes until finally, I asked him to go over what was to be done so I could leave them to it. I had to ask questions as he was not very forthcoming. Part of the process of spraying was to protect stuff in the garage from the spray. They covered about 50% of my belongings and pretty much made a mess of the other 50%. They moved items around and didn't move them back. The Sales Rep had told me they would also be treating for termites as he believed there was activity. The guy who came had no knowledge of that (I still have not had the retreatment). And oh - they broke my garage door by trying to force it up &/or down with the handle turned the wrong way or some obstruction - who knows, they weren't talking. And there was the trash left behind.....
Due to the horrible performance of  these folks, I began to question the charge for the Powder Post Beetle treatment. I thought I was covered but the Sales Rep insisted I was not and there was nothing in the computer indicating such. I found some old Inspection Reports & on each one it was clearly stated that I was covered for the Beetles.
It took me 2 months to get someone's attention at Terminix. I wrote a letter - no response. I called - no response (someone will get back to you in 48 hours wink wink). Someone called me about my renewal. I told her my issue and she assured me someone would call within 48 hours. And someone did call - about my renewal. Good grief. When a C/S rep finally got back to me, she had no clue what my issue was, there was no letter with my file, it was a disaster. I was a customer for 18 years. I paid their renewal fees every year, year in & year out with never a need for service. (I do wonder why the yearly inspection never turned up the Beetle issue). Horrendous C/S. No pride in workmanship. Run. Run as fast as you can.

They come out every 4-5 months. So far the same employee comes out. He is really nice and he was able to take care of a really large spider nest in one of our trees recently. We have a lot of trees and vegetation. They come 2 times a year and walk around the house to check for termites. We pay them one yearly fee.

Their current service is more costly than what it should be though. They have been easy to work with and we are on a contract with them. We do wish we could just call them and they could come out to do the treatment,  but instead we are on the contract.

We started using them in Maryland and then also when we moved down to this location. They did an inspection and treatment when we first moved in. Since then they come out for us annually. The service has been great. They are attentive with coming out here at a certain time. They walk around the perimeter and check downstairs too.

They got rid of the termites for me. It was a one-time treatment. The price of their service is a little high.
