Repairs were fully discussed with homeowner prior to beginning the work.  Work was described in written contract and all was completed in a professional, timely and workmanlike manner. We will definitely call this company again for future improvements.

I would highly recommend Matthew Neighbors to do any handy work that needs to be done. I've used him in the past and he always does a great job! He shows up when he tells you and is very concienious about his work that he and his work partner do.
He is a very hard worker and will always come up with a solution to a problem.

In early July 2013 we contacted Neighbor's Construction regarding home maintenance work we needed done. We received a call back from Mr. Neighbors and arranged for him to visit our home to see the work items on our list first-hand. Mr. Neighbors arrived on the scheduled day and time. He appeared very knowledgeable. When the walk-through ended he said he would send us a quote in a few days. We never heard back from him.

Matthew and his helper came when they said they would. He took down the broken sections of fence (approximately 40 to 50 feet long by 8 feet tall), dug out the 6 broken 4x4 posts, installed new posts in concrete and reinstalled the sections of fence in concrete.
He cleaned the area up and if it weren't for the repaired fence you wouldn't know he had been here.
I was more than pleased with the finished project.
He was very courteous and obviously knew what he was doing.
I will definitely call Neighbors Construction for any work I need done in the future.

We were expecting last minute guests and needed the downstairs bathroom finished in a very short time. My husband was able to do most of the work, but needed a plumber for the nitty-gritty. Matthew was the only plumber I called who actually answered the phone. He was very understanding about our predicament and helped us out. He was very professional and friendly.

This was a wonderful experience. Matthew Neighbors and the Neighbors Construction personnel (Elmer) were very professional, knowledgeable, conscientious, and totally committed to the project. The attention to detail and expertise shared resulted in an absolutely beautiful restaurant from the gorgeous ceiling tiles to the wood plank flooring ... a truly Metropolitan feel.
This renovation could have been complicated and very stressful for me; however, working with Neighbors Construction allowed me to continue to work full time at another profession and I was very confident the project would be completed the way I wanted it done with only my best interest at the heart of Neighbor's Construction.
If any of you have a project that you would like to be handled with the utmost confidence of success and perfection, Neighbor's Construction should be your choice.

He and his partner Elmer were very professional. They put a drop cloth down when entering the home to make sure they weren't tracking through the house. They cleaned up after themselves. They were honest about issues that came up during the work. I would use them again any time.

Each of the services he performed required some thought and for each task, Matthew came up with good advice, cost-saving ideas and creative solutions. The slate for our entrance way was more than 30 years old, and on his suggestion, I actually found matching slate at the local Habitat Store. I never would have thought of that myself. The shed siding also was difficult to match and he spent considerable time going to different suppliers in order to find a close match. The garage door frame required considerable extra effort in order to create a good (critter proof) seal. Cutting and iInstalling tiles on the deck steps was quite involved and Matthew made sure that I had good assurance from the tile/adhesive supplier that this project would hold up under outdoor weather conditions before we embarked on this project. These projects took several days to complete. Matthew and his co-worker arrived promptly, worked efficiently and quietly and did an excellent job on every service they performed. They clearly enjoyed their work and were eager to please. I will definitely call on Matthew again. I should note that the price listed above is the quote Matthew gave me. He definitely devoted time and produced services that I felt were valued well above his quoted fee and I paid him a well-deserved extra compensation..

He's reliable, honest and friendly. We've used him a number of times over a period of four years.

Matthew Neighbors is very good. He is very responsive and is always on time. He is reliable and is able to fix whatever we need. He has done basic maintenance and a lot of odds and ends. He has been able to do any kind of little thing for us; for example, he fixed our ceiling in the garage that was falling in. He has done things like put doors in and put in fixtures in our bathroom. He has always done them right. We would continue to use him in the future.
