Being familiar with Jimmy's past performance for high quality workmanship I immediately sought his expertise.  Previously Jimmy and his team performed over $75K of construction at our primary residence.  Jimmy Dollman responded to recent my phone call on the first day of my inquiry regarding his services.  I forwarded an e-mail to Jimmy with the limited information I had regarding three lots zoned for multi-family residential use.  Within 2 days he visited the site and conducted preliminary phone calls and web research regarding the site. Within the first week, I met Jimmy at the site and discussed my "vision"  of the type of structure I wanted to place on the site. 

I contracted for a feasibility study after several lengthy discussions with Jimmy.  He immediately went to work on the feasibility study by scheduling meetings with various city departments and arranging a survey of the site.  We met to discuss the results of the feasibility study, to include the various options for development, to include cost projections based on the options.

Jimmy approached this project with an analytical eye for exploring all the options for future development.  The results of his feasibility study provided me with the framework for making an important business decision.

I bought a 1930s-era house in Warm Springs, VA, in August
2015, and knew that I'd be doing at least one major remodeling job. I found
Jimmy Dollman and MAAG through online research, and, after a brief conversation
by phone, could tell that they were offering the exact services I needed.

      One thing I
value highly in business transactions is clear communication, and that's what I
got from the start. Jimmy and his group spelled out clearly what services I was
contracting for, and they delivered--to the letter, with lots of attention to
detail, and on time.

       Jimmy and his
draftsman, Richard Ingram, worked with me to remodel a 20' x 12' room that had
been added to the original house in the 1970s or so as a downstairs master
bedroom--gold shag carpet, fake pine paneling, and a dropped acoustic ceiling
(you get the picture). The room is now being transformed into a light,
sun-filled, airy space with a raised ceiling, drywall, bamboo flooring, and
recessed LED fixtures. It's going to be stunning.

        I hope to work
with MAAG in the future on a number of other projects, and enthusiastically
recommend this excellent group of design professionals.

After reading rave reviews on Angie's List, Houzz and The Roanoker Magazine, I contacted Jimmy Dollman to help me design my future home plan.  I had spent years searching for the perfect home plan on-line and in books, dreaming to someday build my own home, and finally had the opportunity to try to make that dream a reality for a home near Smith Mountain Lake.  Unfortunately, no "canned plan" met the criteria for my perfect home, so I turned to Jimmy for his expertise and guidance to design a home and create a plan within my budget...and that was no easy fete!  
From the beginning and throughout the entire project, Jimmy was incredibly helpful, responsive and professional.  He answered any question I had without hesitancy (and there were many), returned calls and emails the same day, and provided progress updates and draft revisions frequently.  He had excellent interior and exterior design ideas for the style of home that I wanted to build, right down to the style of windows, cabinets and doors...because there IS a difference!  In addition, he provided great advice on how to stay within my budget by focusing on the layout of the floor plan to maximize square footage and useful space.  
I couldn't have been happier or more satisfied with the design process and finished product - it was a fun, enjoyable experience, and in the end, it is MY perfect home plan!  Jimmy and his team take great pride in the service they provide, and it is surely reflected in their excellent customer service skills and commitment to the project.  I highly recommend Mid-Atlantic Architects Group for your architectural design needs.

Jimmy drew plans for the addition to my home in Christiansburg, VA.  I would highly recommend him to anyone. Jimmy was prompt in returning phone calls and arrived at all of our scheduled meetings on time. He came into my neighborhood, looked around and drew plans that fit into the area and stayed true to the architectural style of the home so that the addition appears to be part of the
original house. He also listens to what you are saying and you don?t have to tell him twice. He will do exactly what you want him to do. If I weren?t around I would have felt comfortable with him making decisions for me.
