Very well. We visited Grand Home Furnishings, asking for a particular type of sofa and were helped to find what we wanted. However, there was none available right then , so we had to wait nearly a month for it to come from another country. This was not a problem. Once it came, the workmen delivered it promptly and removed the old sofa which the new one replaced. This was a big help since it was heavy, was on the fourth floor of an apartment building, needed to be moved on an elevator. Of course the workmen had to transport the new sofa up to the apartment to begin with. A staff person called a couple of days later to ask if all had gone well. It had. We would shop at Grand Home Furnishings again. Work performed in Vinton, VA.

Fred Wade was the furniture repair person, and he was terrific! Our daughter had accidentally dropped some hot glue from a glue gun on a hardwood table and blemished the table top. Fred was able to repair the blemish where it is no longer noticed. He has more than 25 years of experience. The next time we need a wood repair, we will be sure to ask for him. He is very polite, punctual, and skilled.
