Cave Spring Auto Body

Never heard from Cave Spring Autobody. Eventually called them. Was assured someone would call me back, no one ever did. I would not consider having work done by a merchant who has this degree of poor follow through. Would not consider using Cave Spring Autobody.

Very good job overall. Took one week longer than expected due to age of vehicle. (Parts)

Repairs were fine. Paint job not. They said I had a bad paint job previously on the doors and they couldn't blend the paint on the hood and fender to make it look right. There was no noticeable difference in the door and the front fender before it was wrecked. We bought the car used and didn't see any any paint problem. So whoever painted the doors that Cave Spring said were done wrong, evidently knew how to blend the paint on the door with the paint on the front fender so there was no noticeable difference in the door paint and the fender paint. Very, very disappointed. Plus gentlemen I talked to at the shop were less than respectful in how they spoke with me. Insurance adjuster agreed with them - very polite and respectful. However, I still contend that a good paint job should be able to blend in with the old paint job. They said they had to use the factory color and couldn't change it. I've had work done before at other shops in different cities and never, ever ran into this problem before.

However, turns out that they left a front headlight unplugged. I didn't go back to the body shop because I assumed I needed a new bulb; did not cross my mind to think they would do something like as simple as not plugging in my light. Found out at the dealership and ended up having to pay to have the bumper removed to plug the light back in.

Overall, the end result was great. The insurance company footed the bill. Total cost exceeded the estimate by an additional $300.

They did FABULOUS work! Can't even tell there was ever a problem or an accident. They fixed and painted all the areas that needed fixing.

Cave Spring Auto Body - Auto Body Work

Cave Spring Auto Body, was reasonably priced, and I had excellent results on the repair. They had to replace the rear fender and some work underneath, some metal work. I liked the overall service and the person who did the estimate gave details and options. The painting was quite good, you couldn't tell the difference from the original, I was impressed. The people were good, very professional and it only took about 10 days. I was very satisfied!
