Brown Exterminating

This is a rental property that is about 100 years old. Termites were swarming out into the house around the light switches, door and window trim and many other places. Mr. Massie came out and did the inspection and treatment plan. He was very quick to respond and communicated with me very well. I have used other Brown Exterminating companies in the past and was very pleased with them. I also had read a review on Mr. Massie's business, in Roanoke, as being honest on Angie's List. So, not living in the area I trusted that he would do a good job and they did. The service tech that came out to do the job was very polite. He showed me the chemicals he would be using and how he would be using them to treat the Termites. I was very please with their treatment. You won't go wrong with Mr. Massie's company in Roanoke.

I had an annual contract and if there were problems with pests between the quarterly visits, the exterminator was supposed to come and mitigate the problem. I called in July and let him know there was an infestation of stink bugs and Yellow Jackets. He let me know I needed to wait until my next quarterly visit then charged me an additional fee anyhow. I promptly fired brown and found a new exterminator.

these guys were professional dealt well with the tenant since we had some scheduling conflicts they took the initiative and handled it all with the tenant and made it very easy for me

They are very honest; they did not seem to want to take advantage of the situation, like when some people come out to look for termite damage, they will easily say that they have to do the whole house too instead of just the place where the termites were, but these guys did not do that. I knew that I had termites, so I had them come out and they treated a three car garage and a storage building for a reasonable price, but they did the inspection for free.

They are fine and do a good job.

I am not terribly pleased with them, because it is difficult to get them to come out to do the inspection and they don't come on the month they are supposed too. I don't switch to another company, because the new company would have to come out to reseed everything. In terms of pricing, I do think they have good pricing.
