I had a tree cut down. The person they sent out here was extremely polite and well mannered as well as the crew. The price was reasonable.

I was pleased when Brown's showed up and removed a tree at a reasonable cost. However, they gave me an estimate to remove 3 stumps but never showed back up to do the work and never returned my calls. I was very disappointed that they didn't respond to my calls and at the very least let me know they weren't interested in doing the work. Otherwise, I would give them a better rating if they had at least responded to my calls.

I was impressed (and surprised) at how well this went. The tree was very large and was between two other large sycamores and close to a 5 foot tall aluminum fence. Furthermore I have a steep curved driveway that the bucket truck needed to get up and park on. The crew was very careful to make sure no damage was done to the fence or other trees. The yard had a few "dents" from the impact of large falling branches (I can't imagine a way to prevent that). All limbs and debris were removed from the yard.

Had to call them back to finish stoop (they'd only done the front and not the sides). I was expected to clean the pipe at the bottom of the chimney where it meets the wood stove myself. Workers were personable and worked hard. Although the workers told me I would be billed, the invoice they handed me as they left said, "NO STATEMENT WILL BE MAILED". It also said, "10 Days Past Due- A 10% Late Fee Will Be Added." Given those statements, it is surprising that at the bottom of the invoice it says, "Payments are not accepted by mail". To further make it difficult to pay, there is no address on the invoice.After several attempts to contact by phone, I found an address on line and went to the office to pay. It was closed at 1:15pm on a Wed. Finally phone contact was made and a rep. came to the house and picked up the check.

"My invoice clearly states no other statement will be mailed, meaning you pay from that invoice , payment are excepted through mail if I Have agreed to accept mailing then I will give the mailing address on most cases we pick the check up after work is completed and the customer is happy."
