Wonderful job. They did the work sooner than expected, and trimmed the tree well while retaining its natural beauty. The rep also walked around the property with us and gave advice on other areas.

Jarrett Wilkes responded immediately to my phone call and we set up an appointment time. 
He came by and we talked about what needed to be done. 
Jarrett went to his vehicle where he typed and printed out a proposal for the work to be done, including the price. 
We discussed the proposal and price and both signed the agreement. 
Then Jarrett went out and tagged all the trees that were to be worked on. 
The following week the crew came out and spent a day doing the job that Jarrett and I had agreed upon.
They cleaned up after they were finished.

Initially, they didn't cut enough off to my liking so they came back the next day to trim it up some more at no extra charge

Professional and effective work.

I had a large maple tree which turned out to have a rotten interior near my house and surrounded by landscaping infrastructure such that it could not simply be dropped and cut up. The crew from Bartlett Tree Experts spent two days cutting from a boom truck with some climbing necessary when the boom could not reach.  They carefully lowered the branches and the trunk sections with no damage to the surrounding garden and  infrastructure.  Per my request they left the trunk sections cut to length and I split them down for firewood.  The job could have not gone better or the crew been more professional.  I was very pleased with the job and would recommend them and use them again myself.

Request for service occurred a few weeks after major storm damage in a widespread region. Even though this was understandably a busy time for all tree removal contractors, Bartlett was the only company that bothered to even call back. My consultant patiently described my options and discussed several scenarios that took both short and long term consequences into account. Detailed estimates were arranged and professionally delivered. Tree removal work occurred and was completed on a single day and staff were all professional and courteous. Stump grinding occurred through a separate subcontractor and was completed a couple weeks later.

On April 3, 2012, we asked Bartlett to estimate the cost of doing the work described above.  After agreeing to the price, a date of May 4 was scheduled to do the work.  On that day, a crew of three arrived and, after assessing the work to be done, they proceeded to prune the larger of the two Loblolly Pines.  One of the crew roped himself into the tree and did not use spikes to climb.  Another crewmember went into the second Loblolly Pine and proceeded pruning that one.  The third crewmember managed the ropes for both.  They were careful to avoid having the debris land in the gardens below the trees.
Two of the crew roped themselves into the Red Maple and began removing all debris greater than 1 inch in diameter.  After the pruning was complete, they began to prepare the tree for cabling.  They ran two steel cables about two thirds up the tree in such a way as to support the two main stems.
All debris was collected and removed leaving a clean work area.  We have used Bartlett before and will probably use them again.  The price was higher than other estimates but the work was done in a very caring and professional manner.

They did fertilizing.  I have a lot of trees.  They are prompt, courteous, and competent.  They are reasonable priced to the best of my knowledge.

I called for an estimate and advice on trees in my yard. Some were in good condition and some were not. They helped me decide which ones to take down and trim based on the budget I had.

They are expensive but really great. They did a good job, are informative and cleaned up really well. I will use them again in the future.

Performed a complete evaluation of our trees and shrubs.  Was polite, thorough, professional, and obviously experienced in this field.  Offered advice and shared his knowledge on virtually every tree and shrub in our yard.  When we are ready to proceed with any necessary work, we will certainly use this company. 

It was a very easy experience.  From the receptionist to the master arborist to the cutting crew, everyone was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable.  Terrific people and excellent service.

My 15-year-maple's leaves were looking weak and drying up as they were coming out early in the spring.  I called Bartlett and a certified arborist, Adam, showed up at the time the appointment was set, and diagnosed the difficulty as aphids. It would need both spray and fertilizing.  He also checked out a butterfly bush that was not thriving and indicated it needed deep fertilizing.  He told me the job could be done within the next few days (I was desperate because this was all in my small front yard), and sure enough, the work was completed a couple of days later.  The maple tree and the bush were both treated, and since there was some spray and fertilizer left over, three burning bushes (with aphid damage) were treated as well, at no extra charge!  I was extremely pleased with this company's positive attitude, promptness, and professionalism.  Ten days later, the shrubs and the maple tree are all remarkably improved and healthy-looking.  I am very grateful to Bartlett.

They are wonderful. I have been using them years. They are the best I know. Their crew is wonderful. I never worry when they are here. They have taken out complete tees. They are excellent and reasonably priced. I know they are insured. Adam, who comes out knows what he is talking about. We have a place that is an outdoor wedding venue. It is important to maintain the look of the trees. They do a wonderful job.
