Bobby was great to work with and has a friendly work crew.  I felt comfortable talking to them and having them around.  His pricing was more reasonable than other quotes obtained.  He focuses on quality and customer satisfaction and added a few extra services in at no cost (power sprayed my sidewalk and painted the shutters on my storage shed).  Bobby did a great job on my house--it looks considerably better than it looked prior to his arrival and looks much newer than it's 50 year age.  Bobby is knowledgeable about paints and stains and helped us to make the right cost/quality trade for the application.  I had to wait longer than I wanted to due to a much rainier summer than usual, but in the end, it was worth waiting for.  Thank you for a great job, Bobby!

A month passed, we received no written contract, no contact whatsoever.  So we called back around mid-May to ask if we were still on his schedule.  He was very polite and assured us that yes, we were still on his schedule, but he'd "just been so busy".  He stated he'd call us a couple of days before he was ready to start the job to make sure it was a good time for us.  We asked about the written contract and he said he'd bring it with him when he came to start the job.
The middle of June, we still had not heard a word from him.  So we called him again.  Again he was very polite and said yes,, he was still planning to do the job.  We asked for an estimated date when he could begin the work and he said he was out on a job and couldn't give us a date till he got back to the office and that he'd call us that evening or the next morning when he had his calendar available.  The next day at 11:30am he left a voicemail message and said that he just couldn't give us a date, that we needed to understand he'd lost 25 days to rain already and he just couldn't commit to a date.  He then said he didn't know what else to tell us, but "if we had any questions, we could call him".  
We cannot review his work, but we can sure review his customer service:  Unreliable and Unprofessional.

"First, let me apologies to (removed member name) for being unhappy with our level of customer service. Please understand, we cannot paint in the rain. Damp weather is terrible for painting since it compromises the job's outcome-quality. We strive to give every customer a paint job that will hold up for years to come. If I feel the conditions are not right to give quality work, I will not come out to do a job just to get a paycheck. When our work does get backed up, we take the customers in order. I strive to make sure we are fair, as I've always done during in the 50 years of service. We apologies again to (removed member name) for the scheduling conflicts and would be happy to help find her a replacement contractor with more convenient scheduling. We were VERY happy with Mr. Edwards' company. From the first moment we contacted him, he was great about keeping the lines of communication open. From our first call, he kept us up to date with the project. He and his grandson painted our entire house and both were very professional, friendly and did a great job with the work.
His estimate was the lowest out of the two estimates we received; however, we ended up choosing him because of how professional and knowledgeable he seemed while talking with us initially. He also seemed very authentic and honest (this is important). We ended up choosing a different color for the stain (after not liking the initial color we picked) and this wasn't a problem at all. Mr. Edwards was very understanding and always put us first. And best of all, our house looks GREAT!
We even asked him for extra business cards so that we could pass out to our friends! Definitely go with BN Edwards - they are great!

We ended up selecting Bobby Edwards because his quote was much more reasonable than some other companies we called. He and his crew were very professional and kind. I felt comfortable having them around my home. We had a lot of rain so it ended up taking a little longer than expected but they always kept me updated on the delays and the work they did was great. I would definitely use them again!

Mr. Edwards responded quickly to my call and was very nice and very professional. His bid was very reasonable and he did a great job. My neighbors all said the work looked great and a couple have asked for his contact information.

It's been about five or six years since the last time he was here. He may do interiors, but I don't know. We've only used him for exterior. He is reliable and professional. He shows up till the job is done, and he does a good job. I think he's very reasonably priced for what he does. We have an old, big Victorian house, so it is difficult to get everything sanded off and smooth. With someone else, it would probably cost us more than what we would be willing to pay. The house looks good. He's very polite, honest and neat. He's a very affable person, nice to deal with. We like his price and his work, which is why we've been back to him a number of times.
