They arrived within the time frame they estimated, were friendly and polite, took their time and did a very professional job.  The repair work they did on the masonry has a 10 year guarantee.  The flue cleaning was $234 for 2 flues, the cap repair was $200.  We would highly recommend this business to anyone needing chimney service.

Overall we had been pleased with the chimney sweeps for 8 years. It did take a while to get them here every year, but we continues to use them until 2010. All we are asking is a little respect and to return my phone call.

For the past 2 1/2 months I have been calling to have this faulty repair work corrected. The maddening part is the owner has told me or my wife 3-4 times that he would be out the next day or next week to fix the problem. He never shows up and never calls to reschedule. It is apparent after a dozen or so phone calls it is apparent that this business is not going to honor it's contract and has decided to simply ignore the situation.

I have now requested a refund and have filed a complaint with the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation - interesting their website shows the contractor license as being suspended. I am in the process of making a Better Business Bureau complaint.

I would not recommend this company for any services.

He was timely and punctual. He was actually there quicker than I could think.

Technician owner arrived late. He was dressed sloppy and his clothes were dirty. He took stove pipe away from wall and immediately said the chimney was unsafe and that it would be $3,000 to repair. I found this unusual because the other sweeps had not reported an issue in past years and were much more professional. I didn not him to sweep/clean the chimney as I lost faith in him during the first 5 minutes. I contacted an actual mason to review/inspected; he looked at the entire chimney and cleaned it. He stated it was one of the cleanest he had seen in 45 years. I feel Affordable Sweeps is dishonest and unprofessional.
