Showed up at door unannounced. Said they were in area and would do job that I had requested a quote on. Never received quote just a verbal estimate. Said they would do job for cash only despite card with VISA/Mastercard logo acceptance on it. Did not complete the work we had agreed on. Trees hanging over from neighbor's tree on my property. Hired them to cut off tree at my property line. Tree limbs still hanging over my yard. Hired them specifically because they had lift truck. Worker was ready to do work but was denied by David the manager. Workers were great and did a great job. David the coordinator was not. Never provided receipt. Call in to the office said they would provide receipt the next day. Never provided.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed], I am sorry you feel that the job was not completed to your specifications. Having been in business for 24 years we strive to provide satisfaction to our customers as much as possible. Work was completed at your home with the bucket truck to trim and complete a crown reduction of your Neighbors tree. The crown reduction was completed to the property line as much as possible but also keeping in mind the health of your neighbors tree and possible litigation should this tree suffer health issues in the future. With regard to the cash acceptance we do not only accept cash and you were the one who offered to pay cash for a reduction in the price which we allowed a reduction of 100$. We accept all forms of payment so this is simple untrue. We have since provided a receipt as you wished and there was no need for a call to the office for this to be accomplished this must have been an oversight on the day of service. We have also since spoke with your neighbor regarding your tree and she feels that it looks fine and does not wish for it to be trimmed anymore. As this is her tree we must consider her wishes in this matter. At this point we have evaluated the tree and there are no limbs over your roof or property line. We have reached out to you and your neighbor and unfortunately there is nothing more we can do. We do apologize that your expectations were not met but as professionals we also have to maintain the health of the tree."

On Wednesday, December 2, I hired Murray's to top off my Bradford Pear tree whose branches were too close to my house and my neighbor's deck. I asked for a 2:00-4:00 window on December 4. That was agreed to. At 11:10 on the 4th, I got a call that the workers were half an hour away. I was just about to leave the house, but since they said they were so close, I decided to stay at home. I didn't insist that they keep to the 2:00-4:00 window because we were scheduled for rain during that time. An hour later, when they still hadn't arrived, I called to see how far away they were. I was told that the workers were in my backyard at that moment. I looked, and no one was there. The workers arrived in my backyard a couple of minutes later. After they were at work for a few minutes, I looked outside and saw that they had lopped off 10 feet or so from a very thin tree that was decidedly NOT a Bradford Pear. Obviously, there was nothing that could be done to correct that blunder, so I simply made my displeasure known and let them go on with their work. The foreman tried to rationalize his mistakes, and I just let him talk because if I said anything it would have been extremely intemperate. The work itself was adequate, I suppose, The Bradford Pear itself looks a hideous mess, but I expect I'll get used to it. The best I can say is that overhanging branches no longer brush against my house or endanger my next-door neighbor's deck.

Everyone in this team are very professional and very response. They are quick to provide proposals and came with trucks and full equipment so they can finish the job quickly. They also clean up the area before leaving. Last year, I requested twice for their services. I highly recommend these folks.

It went well. Dave came out at 10am and we discussed the work. He made good comments based on the type of tree as to the type of work to be done. he listened to my concerns and addressed them. After reaching an agreement, his crew and a cherry picker arrived at 10:30. They were finished and cleaned up by 12:45. They also did a quick clean up of the rest of the yard. Much appreciated! Quick and efficient and very professional.

It went very well. They were very punctual and the price was good. They sent 3 workers who were very careful not to damage our property. They took great care when trimming the tree as to allow light to come through the canopy.

I found them because of one of the flyers around my area. The price was very reasonable. The quality was good. They followed up. They come in with good equipment. Some truck holding people up, very secure and things like that. Some companies cheap, but they hang their people up with some kind of cable, very weird, very unsecure. This one very good, very secure. They have equipment and they clean up at the site. They told me 2 hours but it was less than 2 hours. They did good job. There were 4 guys. Actually, I was very surprised because I thought maximum of 2 or 3 but they came out with 4.

everything went well. they came on time, and was someone monitoring the work of the workers for safety. everything is very professional. they brought all the right equipment, to do the job correctly, safely, on time. It does help that they speak fluent English, and communicate well to what you need to get done.

Murray's provided a detailed estimate, offered a small discount, and followed up with me after the estimate (the only company to do so). They were able to come the first business day after I let them know they had won my business. They arrived on time and got straight to work. The team of 3 spent 5 hours, working hard and carefully, were polite and professional, and cleaned up very well. They removed all the debris and even got on the roof to blow off leaves and small branches that had been shaken down when they were removing large branches.

They did a decent job doing the branch removals but in doing so they had to drive their cherry picker on the side of the house where I had installed some flagstone steps. They damaged several of the steps and did not bother to offer to report or repair the damage. It was some time later that I discovered the damage, and did not make an issue of it, but it was irritating. Have used them in the past because they were relatively inexpensive and available on short notice.

This was a huge red oak tree that had to come down. Murray's crew started right on time and finished with time to spare. Professional, courteous, and cleaned up everything! The price was absolutely reasonable. What more could you ask for?

The Murray crew were great. They came out and quoted pretty quick. Their rates were competitive.
On the day of service, they arrived on time and got straight to work. They needed a cherry picker to hit most of the tall limbs and did these nicely. They also quickly took down a few small trees and ground up the stumps.
Afterwards, limbs and leaves were raked up and the yard looked great. We would definitely use the Murray service again.

I was very impressed with Murray's. My husband called them on Monday and they were able to come and do the work on Tuesday. They were very professional and very good at what they do and all at a fair price. The tree we had removed was in between our house and our neighbors house. They did a very good job of removing the tree without any problems in such a tight spot. Our son wanted to watch and so we both stayed outside to watch the whole process. I appreciated that they were so very pleasant and took the time for our special needs son. He thought their job was just great and was so excited about what they do. I know that might not be an important thing to put in a review, but in my opinion, those who take time for people and go out of their way to be friendly and provide a top notch service are the ones I will recommend when someone else is looking for the same kind of service. Well done Murray's! We are very happy with the work you did for us.

All went well. Ensure you are with them. Individual shows up and provides you an estimate and description of the work to be completed. I showed up just as they were completing the work. I asked a couple of questions on what we agreed to...and they had to unload their equipment to finish the rest of the work we agreed upon. Fair price..just make sure you are home for the work.

Murray's team provided excellent service. The team, led and well supervised by David, were well equipped, trained, and clearly very competent in tree services. The numerous trees behind the house had grown to a degree that they completely blocked the sun on the back yard, and were impinging on our deck. Murray's team had the equipment to climb the trees where needed, and cut them back cleanly with care for the health of the trees and for our shrubs below the trees. We had a very large tree on the side of the tree that had died. David and team responded to our request to remove the tree very quickly. They arrived equipped with a large truck with an arm and basked that they used to remove the tree from the top down, carefully avoiding damage to the house and the other trees around the dead tree. The entire effort was well organized and managed. All debris was removed with excellent clean up.They were not as cheap as some, but given the quality, equipment, trained crew, supervision, and professionalism of the work, their price was quite reasonable. I give Murray's tree service a strong recommendation.

George lived up to the best estimate I got. Unlike their greedy competitors, this service provider was very reasonable and did a complete job taking care of all the details to make it safe. We needed a patch of day lilies cleaned out, weeds pulled, etc. Called the company on Friday morning. The owner told me they were planning to be in the neighborhood on that day and asked if they could come by and give us an estimate. I said fine. They came by and gave me a reasonable estimate of the cost for the work I wanted done. They had 2 workers with them who could start immediately. The work was done by early afternoon and it was done well. All weeds were removed and all debris hauled away. I could not have been more pleased. I recommend them highly.

They didn’t clean up everything after they were done and did not finish all the tasks they were supposed to. They were also expensive.

I had 3 estimates and Murray?s was not the cheapest, although all 3 were very competitive, but I liked their professionalism and their truck/equipment better than the others. David was very kind, professional and explained everything very well. The crew performed the work, removing 12 large trees, 2-3 very close to the house and one was a large dead tree, and grinding of about 4-5 stumps. They did a great job and cleaned up very well.
There were 2 large tire marks in the backyard that I was concerned about, but it had just rained for several days prior, so not much that could really be done about that, and the grass ended up growing back quickly, not even noticeable after 4 weeks.
The only thing I was not happy with was the fact that a large stump next to the house was left there when I felt we had agreed to have it ground out. They didn?t seem to want to give in on that and wanted paid extra to do it, but I had reached my budget for the project. I will just cover the stump with a plant, or get it ground out later.
Good work, I would use Murray's Tree Service and Landscaping again and recommend to others.

My neighbor arranged the work, which required Murray's people to come into my back yard to a) drop the branches and tree and b) remove them. The work was done quickly and professionally, with care not to damage structures or other trees and plants. Cleanup was very thorough. I would use them again.
