We have been having issues with our sewer ejector for months. We had several companies come out to look at the issue and give us quotes for the repair. Ultimately we chose Chuck Mullins because we thought they had a good reputation. After they came out we were told that the issue we thought was causing our problems was actually something else so they had to order the part. Of course the issue they identified was completely different from what the others had told us. After not hearing from them AT ALL (over 6 weeks) they finally called us last week to swing by our house in the afternoon. Mind you they didn’t call to set up an appointment, just assumed we would be home. We finally got an appointment and the technicians came out to replace the control box. After they were done they produced an invoice of $1200. This was the FIRST TIME we were told the cost. We inquired when they ordered the part and were told they would let us know. Again, this would require them to actually call us in a timely manner so we could make a decision to move forward or not. It’s a complete foul on them for installing it and not telling the cost. I can tell you at that price we would’ve gone with our number 1 choice who would’ve replaced the entire system for just over $2K. I would avoid this company period. Their lack of customer service and professional courtesy is frankly nonexistent. They will never get my business again nor would I recommend them. I called Chuck Mullins Plumbing on a referral from a plumber who had some prior work for me. My suspicions that the source of my problem was "possibly in the well pump line" was clearly communicated to Mullins and the plumber Mullins very promptly dispatched to my home. Mullins' plumber spent some time diagnosing the problem and concluded the pump, which was very old, was failing due to worn impellers. I agreed to purchase a replacement pump and was told it would be a "Wilson." After researching this brand relative to the Gould pump that allegedly was failing, I agreed to make the recommended purchase and repairs. Only after the new pump was installed, and owner's manual was presented, did I learn that, instead of a Wilson pump, a Pentair pump had been installed. In response to my questions, I was told that Pentair "is the company that owns Wilson" and the pumps were "of equal quality." Unfortunately, the pump replacement did not cause the problem of a constantly running pump and little water pressure to be resolved. Only then did Mullins discover the leak in the water line from the pump to my home. Thirty minuets later, the line-leak had been repaired. I came close to not writing this (it has been over a month since the work was done), in part, because the replaced pump was old and the price ($1,704.00) was within the price range that was initially quoted. However, after reflection, I felt that customer should be alerted not to give Mullins as much trust and confidence as I had done.

A technician came promptly & the office called shortly after to give me a quote. It was a good price so we asked them to go ahead. The work was done before lunch.

Chuck has done various work for me over the past 15 years.  He is very professional, courteous, and reasonably priced. I can always count on Chuck.  I've called him in off hours and daytime hours.  He is very dependable, shows up, and resolves the issues. This includes work such as sump pump, water heater, etc.  I've recommended him to many of my friends.

I was provided Chuck Mullins information from a neighbor and called him in the evening.  He quickly answered and said he would have someone in the office call me back to set up an appointment as he was driving.  Minutes later the office called and set up my appointment for the next day!  Plumber showed up on time and was very willing to answer all my questions.  He quickly fixed the leaking fitting that had been recently replaced.  It only took about an hour.  Cost was very reasonable and responsiveness was excellent.  Chuck Mullins Plumbing will be my go to plumbing company going forward!

Very professional people. They were prompt, polite,neat,fast and explained the situation very clearly. I will definatly use them in the future if needed.

Mr. Mullins came and diagnosed my 17 yr. old water heater w/ a faulty gas valve. The price to replace the valve put me too far down the road cost-wise, so I opted to change out the heater. Replaced it w/ the same brand (State), quickly and efficiently. Cost was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than 2 other well known plumbing companies in the area for the same work. Will use again, and recommend this company. Have lived in Warrenton for 13 years, and now just finding out the companies who will be fair and do quality work.

He is good and not expensive. It is not a big company, has a few guys that work with him. I have used him for 4 or 5 years now. They are professional, polite and do good work. They put in a big grate in our basement and it has not flooded since.

He did a very good job for me. He sometimes does the work himself and has a long history of experience. He is a master plumber and used to do the plumbing for the local schools. I have been using his service for over 8 years and I would highly recommend him.
