TK the Appliance Guy

Fantastic. I called several companies and they were either booked several days out, had a high fee just to show up, or didn't work on LGs. We had been out of town and came back to a non-working fridge, so were concerned that it had been down a while and wanted help asap before it completely broke. TK came to the rescue 2 days later. He is a small, one-man shop who obviously loves what he does. Personable, clean, fair, very good at explaining things. He diagnosed the problem and ordered the part which would take a day to arrive. Since he was going on vacation, he arranged with another repair man to come Monday to install. He charged me nothing for his visit, and confidently gave me an estimate of what his friend would charge. When I didn't hear from the other person by noon Monday (and the fridge had fully konked out), I called TK on vacation and he immediately called me back and said the friend would be coming in a few hours. The friend came and all was well. Although TK didn't end up doing the actual repair, I have full confidence in him based on my experience, and he is far cheaper than the big guys.
