TALLEY PAINTING

This company was recommended by a paint company and I thought they would do a great job. My request was to paint two bathrooms and trim, one outside door, kitchen ceiling and repair cracks in other rooms and do touch up paint. The painters were here for one day on January 6th (10 to 5) and left all connectors off in bathrooms (ring to wall from shower, etc), no trim was painted, did not paint small area in connected bedroom as requested and now the cracks that they corrected are exposed again! I have called this painter several times and his reply is that he will get back with me to complete the job. As of today, Sept. 10th, I have not heard from him. I am very disappointed!

very well.  the principal painter and his son (who was the carpenter) were excellent.  nice job done well.

All went well.  Love the new paint job and he made our home look a 1000 times better than it did.  We are set for 5 to 7 years now.  Fred Talley knows what he is doing and takes care of his customers.  He doesn't advertise because he gets so many repeat customers.  Another good thing is  He doesn't nickel and dime you for every change order as long as   your request is reasonable he will just take care of it under the original price quote.

This is the second time I have used Mr Talley and he has done a great job both times.

He will use any paint that we suggest, but he suggested a specific, more expensive paint.  We agreed, because we have long heard that you get what you pay for with paints.  The solids/solvents ratio is usually better with the more expensive paints.
He may not return calls quickly, and his crew may mot get to your house when he estimates.  However, it is because his crew finishes what they start.  The crew will stay at the location until it is finished, so you do not have to wonder if they will ever come back.  The carpentry prep work and the finishing are the hard parts of the painting process.

We had them do this job after we got a good reference on them from someone we knew. They did a good job overall. We had to have them come back for a few minor touch ups, but nothing major and there were no problems with that. They even repaired some wood trim on the outside and did a good job getting everything done nicely.
