I have had my windshield replaced on a previous car by Safelite and it was easy and they did a great job. This time was a very different story. The first appointment was at my work and the repair guy showed up in the time window but quickly saw the windshield ordered for my car was not going to fit my car. He seemed frustrated the wrong windshield was ordered by the office given they have my VIN. I got a new one ordered and the second guy showed up on time at my house. He took the windshield out and saw it wasn't going to align with my rearview mirror - he said this is common for after market windshields. He went back to the warehouse and got another one. It didn't fit. He said he was going to have the office order a OEM windshield but it could take a week since insurance had to approve it. No big deal, went about my day. Got a text saying a guy was coming out between 12 and 5 later that day. I was out and called the office to confirm, the lady said to go straight home because the repair guy was on his way. I cut errands short and ran home. I waited around for 2 hours and called the office again. The woman who picked up the phone didn't realize she picked it up because I heard a lot of background noise, some inappropriate language, and then she hung up. I called back and the lady who picked up this time said she didn't know when the repair guy was coming and I cancelled because I had a commitment that afternoon and needed my car. Got it rescheduled for their service center the following Friday. Dropped my car off for a morning appointment and was told it should only be two hours. I called that afternoon to check on my car and was told they would call back with an update. When I was called back I was told the guy took my windshield out at put the wrong one in because he didn't check to make sure it would fit first. They had to keep my car overnight to get one that would fit in the next day. I needed my car because I have a car seat and my daughter was at daycare. I tried to get a manager and was told she was on vacation and I was out of luck. The next day the guy put a windshield in that fit the car, but wasn't the right one - rearview mirror didn't align correctly. A week later a repair guy came out to my house with FINALLY the correct windshield and replaced it with the correct one, and it took him less than two hours. When I spoke with the manager about the issues she kept saying it wasn't their fault. I understand things get mislabeled, but I'm not sure why the third guy took my windshield out without making sure the one they were putting in would fit. The first two repair guys checked. It is unacceptable to keep someone's car hostage overnight for a simple two hour repair. Manager just had excuse after excuse. The district manager was apologetic when I spoke with him and wanted to make things right. There is clearly some mismanagement at this location from the manager to office staff to repair staff. However, the three techs who came out to my car were great. If you have a simple windshield I'm sure they can do it correctly, however, if you have any technology in your windshield I would look elsewhere. Or, go to a different location - not the one in the city.

Was able to get an appointment quickly and conveniently, There was a bit of wait time, but once they got to my car, it didn't take them long. However, there was tape residue on the window that never came off of the window or the frame of the car around the windshield

The first appointment we had they got my address wrong (went to my house instead the office like I told them), they tried to make it right getting me another appointment sooner than the usual time

Great, as always. Our insurance company always recommends them, and we always use them because they are very professional, always on time, and extremely efficient.

No charge because my insurance covered it.  They did a good job.  It seems like a first rate company.  But the experience of the people they send out are in question.

I only got charged $50 because that was my deductible. The quality of work was poor. They need better quality control.  They left bolts off.  You can actually hear wind noise thru my windshield now.  I don't think it's put in right.

I cannot say enough good things about the entire process. Scheduled directly online from my insurance carrier, scheduled quickly and they came right to our home, exactly as promised. Paul, our technician, could not have been better. On time, excellent work and extremely professional. I highly recommend them.

Stopped in to Safelite's location to get an estimate on windshield repair.  Rock had hit windshield a few days prior and crack was starting to spread.  Didn't have time to schedule them to come to me cause I'm always in and out.  Very pleasant and helpful receptionist worked with me to get the work scheduled while I waited. Also looked at alternatives to filing an insurance claim. The cost of the repair was less than my insurance deductible.  Was in and out within an hour (great service for a walk-in!). Jeremy was the associate who helped me.  Very professional, soothing and reassuring personality. Upon completion, I couldn't see the original crack - looked like a smudge on the windshield. VERY satisfied.  The crew also cleaned ALL my windows and looked like they may have vacuumed the floors, too. GREAT people focused on customer service! Hope I don't need their services again, but will return without hesitation if I do.  Definitely recommend!
