When I bought my house in 2004, the deck off the back was actually ready to fall down! Ray and his crew came out when he promised and the work was done to my satisfaction. He also suggested other ways of doing the job which added to the beauty and functionality of my deck. Great job all the way through!

Brian was very punctual, professional, and responsive. The price I paid was reasonable. He did a great job and was able to repair the dishwasher quickly.

After we had been burned by a previous contractor who had done a botched job replacing one of our front doors (door swung to the wrong side; installed it crooked claiming the brick opening was crooked; ordered a replacement door that we hated; then went bankrupt without correcting any of the mistakes); we interviewed 4 different contractors. Ray took measurements and gave a detailed description of what he would do. He was the only one of the 4 who, after measuring the opening of the crooked replacement door, said he thought the opening was square, but wouldn't second guess the previous work because there may have been some problem he couldn't see. After we hired him he came out with the representative of the lumber company to remeasure and help us with the door order. The actual installation of the doors went smoothly. He noticed some hardware details on the doors that weren't right. He is picking up the parts and coming back to replace them and do the final adjustments on one of the doors. While he was finishing up one day I asked him if he could replace two light fixtures. He did that and didn't even want to charge me for that work. Since Ray works by himself (except on Mondays when another person is available), I would highly recommend him for any contracting job a single person could do or for a job requiring 2 people that could be completed in a day.

Ray is just a general handyman who does general handyman work. He is also licensed as well. He works out really well and I have recommended him to others. I am a Realtor and his prices are extremely reasonable I think. The quality he does is also great. He does charge by the job, not the hour.
