He is not experienced in residential home design, which is what we prefer. He has more experience in commercial designs. We are still in the selection process and are not sure whether we would go with R Michael Cross Design Group.

He came in to help me get permits after an unlicensed contractor did some awful work then lit out when a stop work order was placed on my door. We thought it would be a simple issue of redoing the work to get the permits, but not for this job. Turns out the house in not in compliance with zoning regs, and so we also had to get exceptions to allow for the permit. I don't know how I would have done it without Michael's assistance.
