+ -1 moreDocument EVERYTHING when leaving the property. I was charged a clean out fee for items in the attic that were the landlord's and were there prior to my renting. I never stepped foot in the attic, not one time. During my 5 year stay I did cultivate a relationship with Pen Fed staff as they addressed routine maintenance concerns. For my move out, I meticulously cleaned the house, garage, fence and yard. The house was move in ready. I did call on several occasions to discuss this fee but with no success. Avoid being charged ridiculous fees with more thorough documentation then I had. This experience, after 5 years of renting calls the integrity of Fed Berkshire Hathaway staff into question.
