We got to work with Andy, the initial project was preplacing the old deck and 'patio' with a new patio - their work totally transformed the backyard the work is superb, amazing attention to detail, and very thoughtful in approaching how the patio would flow around thew existing very venerable oaks to ensure the longevity of the patio and the trees. After this project we got to work with Andy again in preparing the house for sale - my style was 'chaos garden' and needed to get rolled back to tidy suburbs. Andy came up with a plan that totally tamed the chaos in only two days and left the grounds neat, professional and ready for the new owners to make it their own. We are looking forward to getting to work with Andy again on a patio project at our new home and will be using Oriole for our hardscaping and landscaping needs in the future

Definitely would not use again. When it rains a little, water puddles at the bottom of my steps. When it rains more than a little, my backyard floods. They graded the yard such that all of the water runs towards my house.

I had some difficulties getting this job done in a way that met my understanding of what was involved in clearning my back yard area. I originally called Kenny out because I had a tree taken down, and wanted to have all of the saw dust removed from where the stump was ground. Once we looked at the area, I asked to do other clearing, such as getting leaves out, and cutting down some very small tress - with diameters of just a few inches. The crew came out and did most of the clearing, but did not take away the sawdust. Kenny later said that his quote only includes the fine dust on top, and not the rest. I later had to pay someone $200 to clear away over 16 barrels of sawdust from the area before

the magnolia bushes could be put in. The waste that was originally cleaned up (enough to fill about 12 large lawn bags), was left behind a row of bushes in my back yard. This is an area that is also part of my neighbor's property, and no mention was given of when they would be back to get this out. I paid someone to get this out before my neighbor complained, and before that stretch of grass died out.
At this point the job is fully done, and things look good, but it was a frustrating road to get here. Kenny did take a good deal more than the $200 that I had to pay out off of his bill, so he tried to make things right at the end, which I appreciate. I think Kenny needs to be much more explicit about what is and is not included in estimates. Because I had to locate someone else to remove the sawdust in this busy landscaping season, the shrubs ended up going in weeks later than expected, but they now seem to be thriving.

Oriole Landscaping was referred to me by a friend that had used them and was extremely pleased so I called Kenny and he came out that afternoon and gave me an estimate to aerate and reseed the lawn. Pleased with the estimate I gave him the OK and he was there on the agreed date and did a wonderful job. While there, I asked him about his experience with any kind of shrubbery that deer wouldn't eat and he recommeded several types. After several weeks, the new grass started coming in and we planted some of the shrubs that he recommeded and everything looks fantastic. I would refer Oriole Landscaping to anyone for any lawn service.

Kenny at Oriole is first-rate. These guys are professional- they keep their commitments and do an excellent job at a fair price. They show up on time with the correct equipment and get the job done. Kenny always returns my emails, calls, and text messages. The yard looks great and the neighbors are complimenting me on the yard again. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any lawn and yard work.
