Moxie Movers did a great move with my job. I had them move my furniture and some heavy boxes. They were good at communicating what time they would start and they finished within the estimated time. They took good care of my furniture, even my antiques. All of the guys were nice and easy to deal with. I would definitely use them again.

I've used Moxie Movers for 3 separate moves and all have gone without a hitch. The team is courteous, friendly, and very time efficient. Scheduling is simple, and the movers are very conscientious handling furniture, boxes, etc. with care. During one of my moves, I required an additional stop from my apartment to a storage facility, and then to the final destination. This was easily coordinated with the moving team. Prices are very fair; rates are pro-rated by the quarter hour once you surpass the minimum time of 2 hours per move.

The crew that Jesse sent did a stellar job. It was 100 degrees on the day of my move and the crew remained courteous, hardworking and careful. They were true professionals in every sense of the word. Worth every penny that I paid. And it was A LOT of stuff that they moved.

We would 100% recommend Moxie Movers.  My wife and I have moved numerous times over the past 10 years and we did a lot of research before choosing a company in Richmond.  Jesse, the owner, really took time to answer all of our questions. His crew of three (Joel, Brandon, and Patrick) completely moved us from our old place to our new place in a little over 6 hours. For perspective, we have about 1800 sq ft of items, plus outdoor furniture and storage items. The day before the move, we had some concerns because of the constant rain predicted for the day.  Jesse really helped talk through our concerns and explained how the movers would handle the weather.  We only had one small glitch the morning of the move.  We were scheduled for a crew of 4 movers, but one person got sick that morning.  When Jesse called to keep us informed, he apologized and offered to honor our original time quote of 8 hours if the move took longer due to the smaller crew.  We were worried, but this crew knocked it out of the park. They were fast, but careful with our furniture.   They made sure to place items where we wanted and kept the process organized.  And on top of all that, they had wonderful, positive attitudes through the entire day.  We would absolutely hire Moxie again without hesitation.  My wife is organized and the guys mentioned that her prep really saved us time. She had boxes and rooms at the new house labeled.  We also took care of the disassembly/assembly of the bed and a couple of other furniture items, to help save time.  All of this prep was a true cost saving for us and also helped the moving crew be more efficient in loading the truck. We would use Moxie Movers again and have already recommended them to two friends. My last shameless plug is to be sure to tip your moving crew, especially when they work as hard as this crew did.

Fours guys and a truck showed up on time and loaded everything, wrapped as they went and got us moved (undamaged!) to our new house.  They were nice and efficient; no one was standing around or had to be reminded why they were there.  Fully loaded before lunch in about 4 hours and emptied the truck in just an hour and a half. It was impressive!

Everything went very well, no complaints whatsoever. They arrived on time and didn't stop until until all the furniture and boxes were in their place. They set up all the beds and assembled the dining room table and hutch. They worked well together and never complained. They were awesome!
