+ -1 moreService was good and the staff is nice but the office is very run down. Patient rooms are small, dirty and barren/uncomfortable. There is also no sick waiting room so my healthy child who was in for a routine visit was in the same room as many other very sick children.

+ -1 moreMonument Ave. is a busy, urban pediatrics office. However, we were always able to get in when we needed to see someone and I was very happy with all the doctors we worked with there. We especially loved Dr. Tennis who was calm and competent and always seems to put our son at ease while also patiently fielding the multitude of questions we had as new parents. My only suggestion is that the office could use some updating.
Description of Work: We loved all of the doctors in this practice. Dr. Tennis is our regular doctor and she was amazing. Our toddler son was very comfortable with her despite the fact that he has to get a shot or two nearly every time he is there. Nursing staff varies. While all are efficient and seem to know their jobs, I would say that some are friendlier than others and better at putting our son at ease.

+ 0 moreThe appointment went great. We left feeling well taken care of and would definitely go back. Our first interaction was with Dr. Tennis at the hospital where our son was in the NICU. She couldn't have been nicer and more compassionate. I highly recommend this practice, though don't be put off by the older school office environment. It's not fancy by any means, but it works, and for us the interactions with the staff and doctors are more important than fancy office settings!
Description of Work: Testing for newborn son- the staff and 2 doctors we interacted with were so friendly and nurturing.

+ -1 moreOur experience with Monument Avenue Pediatrics and Dr. Soltys has been quite positive. The office staff and other doctors in the practice are wonderful. Dr. Soltys has seen both of our children for well and sick visits over the past three years and has always been kind, thorough, informative, honest and reassuring. We feel very comfortable with her because of her calm demeanor and years of experience. She has seen it all and certainly always puts our worries to rest while keeping our kids healthy! Highly recommend her and her practice!
Description of Work: Our first daughter was born early, and as a result we had not yet chosen a specific doctor within the practice, only the pediatrician's office (Monument Avenue Pediatrics) we would be using. We first met Dr. Soltys in the hospital when our first daughter was born. She happened to be doing rounds for Monument Avenue Pediatrics on the day my daughter was born. We have been nothing but pleased with her since the day we first met her and still continue to take BOTH our daughters to her!

+ -1 moreI like her. My daughter has been going to her for 14 years. I've known her since she was in medical school and I have nothing but nice things to say about her. The only problem I have is they don't have a sick room and a nice room. I think that is a problem for babies.
