My lights in a ceiling fan had quit working.  I had searched online for how to fix the problem, but since I won't work with electricity, I knew I would have to have the work done.  Bernie hadn't heard of the problem I was having so I showed him a video I had found online.  He was able to fix the faulty part and my lights on the ceiling fan work perfectly.  I had also gotten two universal remotes that needed to be installed on two ceilings fans.  Bernie installed both receivers.  The directions for how to pair the remotes to the receivers wasn't complete for how to pair when installing for multiple fans.  A quick call to the manufacturer cleared up the problem. Turns out there were 12 steps that needed to be followed for the pairing to work properly.  Once we had the correct instructions, pairing was a snap. Bernie charged me for 1 1/2 hours even though it took a bit longer due to the pairing difficulties.
The only negative I have is that it took several phone calls to be able to get in touch with Bernie.  I would definitely recommend Bernie and Mercury Electric for your electric work.  They are definitely reasonably priced and will do what it takes to make things work right.  They are also very conscientious about keeping the work area clean.

The job went very well! Bernie, his brother Kenneth and their father Bernie Sr. arrived early and made quick work of it. They were in and out in less than an hour. They took care to keep the area as clean as possible and laid down old blankets on the floor to catch any debris while they worked. I got estimates from nine different contractors, six of which whose estimates were more than $250--one whose was more than twice that--and who estimated the job would take at least four hours to complete. The other two contractors' pricing were comparable to Mercury Electric or slightly less, but Bernie was much more responsive to my calling him.

The experience went very well, we were very pleased with them. Their service was quick, they were very polite and friendly people. They did a good quick job for us. They worked around our schedule so we were able to get it done fairly quickly.

The company has been around for years. Their service is excellent. Their prices are very reasonable. They are very responsive and return calls quickly.
