We've been loyal LiveWire customers for four years. They are high quality, skilled craftsmen. Always intelligent, clean, and professional, unlike the and quot;other guysand quot; located out towards Short Pump.
LiveWire has high prices, but you get what you pay for in quality. It's worth spending more when service providers come into your home and dig into your walls, and know how much multimedia equipment located at your address. I trust LiveWire.
I have spoken with the owner about these issues and feel like we just got the two bad eggs that happened to be employed there at the time. Both of them were fired shortly after our job for unrelated issues. Technically all of the components work well.
"We really missed the mark with (member name removed) initial sales experience and I personally intervened to make sure things finished strongly. We did Pre-wire volume controls and helped (member name removed) locate them when he asked (they were hidden behind the Sheetrock vs. blank plated). Our security system came with 6 months free and the monthly monitoring is $29.99 thereafter (much less than ADT or similar services). We did sell (member name removed) additional motion detectors at a discount at his request. We do our best to be competitive and take customer satisfaction very seriously. I'm sorry we couldn't make (member name removed) happy."

"Since we never performed any services for this member, it would be great to change the "Services Performed" to "No." We could easily see how the grade of "B" would've been earned if the extra work was learned about after we arrived on-site, but since we clarified over the phone ahead of time, seems to be a good job of setting expectations. We humbly request an "A.""
They came and gave us an estimate, which was almost $1,000 more than another company we contacted. However, we felt they were more professional, and we were concerned that the other company was shady. Generally, speaking I think you and quot;get what you pay forand quot;. They came and connected our pre-existing, built-in speakers, but the 3 new speakers we ordered from them had not arrived yet, which was fine. They explained this to us. They hung a TV in our master bedroom. We requested that they not drill into our walls to hide the cables - again - fine. We requested that they not drill into our walls. They explained that we would still be able to see the cables, but they would do their best to hide them behind wire/cable covers. We agreed to this solution. After they hung the TV the cables and the covers fell off the wall before the front door closed behind the installation guys. We called - and they said when they come back they would attach the covers with stronger tape. Fast forward, about a week later, they return with the 3 new speakers and and quot;strongerand quot; tape. They affix the and quot;tapeand quot; to the wall and attach the covers. Within the same day, the cables/wires and covers fall off the wall again. Not seriously bothered by the how it looks, we knew it wasn't going to be pretty, but we are annoyed that we have to pay for something that doesn't do its intended job. Now for the additional 3 speakers, everything is hooked up and works, but they ordered the wrong speaker stands. So 1 speaker is sitting on our window sill and the other is sitting on a piece of furniture. At least they didn't charge us for the stands. They did, however, send us a bill for a and quot;completedand quot; job in between the 2 installation dates - before the job was actually finished. They said it was an automatically generated bill and we didn't need to pay until the job was complete.
9/2/11 I noticed that the service provider claims that they called to and quot;make the member happyand quot;. We never received one call from this company. And to clarify, it was at the suggestion of the tech that said he could use the wiring available, that we ok'd him using that wiring to install a phone extension.
This provider DID NOT contact us to fix the problem.
"Member decided not to follow our recommendation to clean up his entire cabling system which was causing problems with the entire home. We became guilty by association after touching a small part of the overall home wiring network. We offered to make member happy several times via telephone. We pride ourselves in doing a great job and this black spot will hopefully not deter prospective clients."
