Lauterbach Electric Company has decades of collective and comprehensive knowledge and experience. We have three employees who have been with us over 30 years each--an exceptional statement in the construction industry. Family owned electrical contractor. Dominion power needed to read my meter and when they went back to see it, realized the meter box had actually melted. Dominion told me to call an electrician immediately. I called Lauterbach for the first time, explained my situation without making it an emergency and someone was still at my door in literally 5 minutes. They were helpful, informative, efficient, quick, professional, and affordable. I would most certainly call them again and recommend them.

They quickly identified the problem, suggested a course of action that was reasonable, and quickly implemented the solution once I agreed. The problem was solved and has not reoccurred since. They were very professional and personable.

Very well.
Description of Work: House was built in 1953. Wall sockets never had been upgraded. Lauterbach replaced/upgraded sockets in 6 rooms of house and installed: new ceiling light/fan in kitchen; new light over kitchen sink; and light fixture in bathroom (over sink). I had obtained estimates from 3 companies. Lauterbach and one other also advised me on what was not needed, providing info on Code and safety. Staff came on time, were fast, efficicent. Manager also handled followup to outages right after an unusual storm and power outage (which happened that same night as installation) at no additional cost.
