David Hamnett at Kittrell Company was the person who led the project and we couldn't be happier with the entire process from beginning to finished product. We loved the "can-do" attitude and his attentiveness to detail and to what we wanted. My husband and I live in a 100 year old house which can be a challenge to work around. We have had some prior work done on the house which led us to be very cautious about who we used since we have had some bad outcomes. We really wanted just your basic 2 level porch with an emphasis on low maintenance since we did not want to have to do much upkeep on it - we just want to enjoy it. Once the project started, David was in communication with us, was easy to contact, was over once or twice a day to take a look at how things were moving along, and got the job done faster than we anticipated without any trauma or stress! The project came in at the price quote, there were no glitches, and the crew cleaned up everything plus were very professional and pleasant. The end result is exactly what we wanted. The only thing is - we love it so much I wish it were twice the size. I believe that Kittrell Company does more of custom home construction and additions than porches but we have highly recommended them to other people who want porches.
