Angie's List members need to know about this contractor!!! The owner (Fernando) personally came out to meet us, show us sample stones, and most importantly-perform the measurements himself. He was a really nice and obviously honest guy. After we discussed the job, selected a stone, and settled on a price he told us he could install in only TWO days. Two days later, the team arrived on time. Removal of the existing countertops was fast and efficient (albeit loud). The new granite countertops were brought in and installed. Somewhere around this time, the largest/heaviest slab cracked! It was impossible to say whether a natural weak spot in the stone or the unusually narrow wooden cabinet section underneath was to blame. The crack was not huge and they were somewhat able to fill it. After the filling, Fernando offered to either give us a price discount or to replace the slab at no cost. Because we were selling the house and didn't want buyers to feel like the (new!) countertops required replacement, we choose replacement. Two days later they were back out with a new countertop. Unfortunately, the color pattern on the remaining slab was different enough from the previously installed (uncracked) counters that they had to remove ALL three counters (not just the cracked one) and replace all three with new counters. I appreciate that they just did this without us having to ask for it. They also cut a groove under the counters beforehand and installed a hidden fiberglass support - to eliminate the possibility of cracking. They did this entire replacement at no cost whatsoever and even hooked our sink back up for free (normally, they request you hire a plumber). I was extremely impressed by the great pricing of IGS and the way they stood by their product/install and made things right.
Description of Work: The integrity granite team removed our existing laminate countertops and replaced them with granite countertops in the stone we had selected. The removal and installation took about four hours.
