Overall, I was very pleased with the services and will use them again in the future.

He did a walk-thru inspection of the house for potential insulation improvements. We decided that foam insulation sealing the attic and foam insulation in the basement on the wall space between the joists would be the most cost efficient improvements. They came out subsequently with an insulation contractor and provided an estimate. They were prompt with their visits and estimate.

Tim brought some equipment to check where we are losing heat (it was cold winter and our utility bills were huge). The final report was very informative, it included thermal images, regular images, suggestions (insulate attic, etc.), it had the analysis of our duct, outside insulation, and such. Talking to Tim and the report itself helped us to prioritise our project to make our house more energy efficient.

They were good. I have had no problems with them. They seemed to be thorough, knowledgeable, and professional.

Overall, this audit was a great eye-opener. Mr. Bryant also showed us that many of the issues, we could handle ourselves, and which would be most cost-effective.

Greenstone performed a blower door test on my home. The entire process was very thorough and took several hours. During the test, Tim showed me where air was leaking into my house through the walls, ceiling, around my chimney, through vents, ceiling fans, etc. I was surprised to discover that I could save $50 per year just by sealing up my doggy door every night. I also discovered that there were gaps between my chimney and the walls of the house that could be simply sealed with a bead of caulk. When he was in my crawl space he noticed a bit of mold in the floor joists that could be easily fixed, but dangerous over time. At the end of the audit, he explained everything thoroughly. Several days later I got a full write-up of the audit.
