GRANITE OUTLET

A 3 week inconvenience turned into a 3 month nightmare.We went through 3 different service reps: 1st-quit, the 2nd planned remodel,ordered the cabinets & took the money for the cabinets and quit, the 3rd- had to reorder a few correctted cabinets and finish the remodel. We originally signed contract & paid for cabinets in early December and waited til January 22nd for delivery. The night before delivery Granite Outlet left a message saying they couldn't find the contracts we signed for installation or the rest of the remodel.(Price went up). Two weeks later they start tearout and installaltion. The 1st problem encounted was that the footprint of the new cabinets was 4 inched shorted than the old ones. Since we had a house full of cabinets and couldn't move, we said go ahead ( we had someone else fix the floor) . We had to wait while they reordered another cabinet for around the window. The granite counter top looks good but the front edge had a 1/2 inch gap between it and the wall. A few calls later, the granite crew came back and bumped the counter top over (after initially insisting it was correct). So much for the laser measurement. The biggest disappointment was the pantry with pull out drawers wouldn't fit. The rep & the store manager said they gave me credit on the cabinet and I paid the remaining installation fee. Fast forward to May 2010, the main office sends a letter stating they cant find where I paid for the remaining half of the installation. Add Insult to injury. When I told them to ask the rep(Drew) and the manager(Rob) about the cabinet credit Granite Outlet said " They no longer work for us". So, I guess you can add accounting and personnel retention to the cabinet ordering and design computer as causes of lousy customer satisfaction for the gang who couldn't cut granite straight.
