The leak was located behind all the tile. Brian tore out the tile and used the Schluter shower system which we feel will be more secure than the old fashioned shower pan method that had failed us. He was very careful and is a perfectionist! He brought in Bubba for the dry wall repairs and Danny for the plumbing. They are an amazing and talented team. Brian also tiled a smaller bathroom floor and repaired a couple of thresholds. Jennifer and Brian painted the master bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen ceiling. Despite all this work, they left the house pristine! Jennifer and Brian Eschbach make a fantastic duo!

We contacted Brian to give us an estimate for our guest bathroom.  We are renovating our whole house and obviously wanted the project done correctly so we contacted Brian.  He got back to us quickly and gave us an estimate.  His price was more than fair and started quickly.  He uses the Schluter tile system which is the best tile backing/waterproofing product on the market by far.  If you have a tile job and the contractor is not using this product he is not nearly as educated on tiling as he/she needs to be.  Brian did a fantastic job at installing the niche and the tub surround.  He is a perfectionist and that is what is needed for tile work.  His work surpassed our expectations.  We will be contacting him back in the spring to install our master bath shower surround and floor.

Brian's schedule is pretty full, so he may not be immediately available, so contact him in advance of your plans to get on his schedule early. We were able to engage Brian over the holidays if we signed up to do the demolition work ourselves. Danny the plumber (An Angie's list top rated contractor) highly recommended Brian, so we tackled picking up the tile and demolishing our old shower in order to engage Brian. Our house is about 6 years old and the master bathroom shower was poorly constructed. With walls less than 4' wide, we had about 9 pieces of cement board pieced together and poorly seamed. The pan was a traditional liner and virtually everything was done wrong when it was installed, from incorrect slope, to an incorrect curb, to nailing through the liner to secure it, to improper main drain installation, to packing the weep holes with grout. Water was leaking into our basement, and when we pulled out the walls and flooring, the installation was very poor. We had heard good things and read good things about the Schluter System, which Brian uses and has a great relationship with the vendor. Brian explained everything he was doing as he went along, and constantly answered my many questions. He always either put on booties or laid out drop cloths in his work area, covered the high traffic areas with dense cardboard to protect the floors, and took his time to clean up and vacuum the work area every day. This attention to detail is in his nature and did not stop with just the cleanliness and respecting your property and space, but in his work as well. The walls were not plumb and square, so Brian did his best to fix that as the tile was laid against the Kerdi system underneath. Brian also properly sloped the floor after fixing the walls (The original installation pooled water in one corner). Brian is a perfectionist and takes his time to ensure the job is done correctly. We will use him on all future projects within the scope of his abilities, and we highly recommend you contact Brian for your needs as well. Get things done correctly the first time, especially if you are considering new construction.
