I would never consider these people again because they did not show up for a appointment i made 1 week ago. Then when i called asking why they were late they could not give me a reason. Sounds like they do not want my money. Any company that does not even bother to show up is garbage in my opinion.

Signed the contract with Empire Today for installation of new flooring to be installed on June 22. On June 22 at 9am was told the flooring was not available. My wife of 76 and I, 73 had boxed up all the rooms and was ready which took several days. I then had to contact the salesman and was offered 4 selections of which were not the same quality or to our liking, but with the house all tore up we selected one to be installed the next day. On June23 the crew of 5 Mexicans in which only one could speak sort of English arrived. All he kept telling me is to pay him but I wanted conformation the floor would be installed which he said he would not say due to an uneven floor in 2 rooms which the salesman said would be leveled. After talking with the a bunch of managers they still would not come to my home and evaluate the floors. I feel Empire Today was trying to take advantage of us due to our age. I have concluded since I have not heard back from them with a result they just do not care about their customers. This company has too many mangers and care about the cash not the quality or backing what they say, they do not walk their talk.

The crew came to install the vinyl and measured the rooms again before starting. They immediately told me they didn't have enough and could lay what they have an finish the next day. They then noticed that the subfloor was not luan and asked for $600 more. I then said for another $200 I could do laminate. The vinyl was now not going to happen. I spoke with the install manager and he said all salespeople should know about the luan and check during estimate. I then asked about the laminate at $3500 because of the inconvenience. They said no. I called customer service to get my deposit back and they said I could probably get a discount but I would have to do paperwork which included dealing with sales again. I ended up buying a better material for $1500 and got the laminate installed for $500.

It was not a good experience, customer service by the sales represenative was very disappointing. For the estimated amount of work, it would have exceeded the fair market value compared to others performing the same services in this area.

Salesman was a couple hours late.Was told installers would call on day of installation to confirm time.After waiting most of the morning I called them and was given a window of arrival.The installers wasted no time,got right to work.Did a beautiful job. I was very pleased.Would use this company again.

Based on tv ads claiming 60% off on select carpeting we requested an in home estimate. They came within one day to provide the estimate. However, we were told that all of the 60% off "select carpeting" was sold out! Appeared to be a classic "bait and switch". Don't run ads that can not fulfilled. Not a company I would do business with.
