Elaine's House Cleaning

This company was so much better in the past but the quality of this last cleaning was terrible! I had to dust, wipe down my kitchen cupboards and appliances. They didn’t even mop or damp mop my floors! I had to stay up and clean after a long day at work because I had company visiting the weekend. The next Wednesday after sending them picture of the dirt they offer to come clean those areas. Too late! It’s a week later. They offered a 15% refund. I should have had another cleaning or a full refund. Don’t waste your money. There are better cleaning companies out there.

We've just completed our third monthly whole-home cleaning appointment with Elaine's House Cleaning. The ladies are extremely thorough and do not waste time. They are very punctual, honest, and hard-working. I feel very positively about the job that they do and will continue supporting this company.

This was a last minute service request because my current cleaning company could not accommodate this request a day before thanksgiving. I called Elaine's House Cleaning and they came on the same day! They did ab amazing job. Very happy. Thank you!

I received a quote for $107 for cleaning on a biweekly schedule. However, the first cleaning was over $200 and this was, I assumed, to allow more time to clean, not knowing the existing cleanliness. When I got home the wood floors, and other areas, weren't very clean. There were some areas where you could tell that they didn't even hit with the mop. They came back to redo the floors and then told us that they didn't realize that the house had no carpeting. The quote would now be more than double the original quote because it takes them longer to clean floors than to vacuum carpeting. They should've asked this question before giving a quote. I feel like they charged us double the quote for the first cleaning and now they want to charge double to clean the house every two weeks. Had I known the real price, I would've never used them as they charged nearly double my original cleaning company.

I actually had to cancel her, but only for my own reasons. Her service was excellent and I liked the quality of the work.

They were efficient and they were very polite. What I didn't like was that it wasn't quite as clean as I would have wanted it. They were not so professional.

It went well from initial contact to completion. I left a voicemail which was returned within one hour and we had service set up for that week within that phone call. They moved furniture, cleaned under items, even handled the kids myriad of small toys.

I've been using them for a couple of years. I have recommended her to many people. She uses me as a reference so I get a call probably once a month from somebody.

They did a really good job. I will use them again.

They were on time, had all their own equipment and supplies. The work was done in a very organized manner and we were very please with the results. We will be using them again.

I called Elaine and she was very prompt in getting back to me. I needed the house I just bought cleaned before we moved in. The house is approx. 3500 sqft. Elaine assured me that they would clean the bathrooms, kitchen (inc appliances), floors, windows, baseboards, ect. When the crew arrived (1 hour late and only two girls) they were wearing uniforms from another cleaning company (Elaine subcontracted the employees but, did not tell me). I showed the girls what I needed cleaned and then left them alone to work. They did a horrible job of cleaning the baseboards, appliances and windows (I had to go back over what they 'cleaned'). The floors and bathrooms looked ok. I think they got tasked with this cleaning at the last minute and just wanted to go home. Elaine never called to checked up on her workers or to make sure the job was going well. I would never hire this company again.

Elaine's service has been wonderful. She came to our house and gave us an estimate within a couple of hours of our first call to her. The two ladies that clean our house every other week are very nice, professional and do a great job. We couldn't be happier with the service.

For $118/week, I have the best two gals in the business. The first time, the owner came with them and cleaned right along side with them. The owner has since stopped by, unannounced while the girls were here, just to check on things and to see if I'm still satisfied with their work. They are always on time, get right to work, don't talk a lot between themselves, don't take a lot of cell phone calls, and leave my house spotless. I am so pleased.

I started using Elaine's after the birth of my daughter. Elaine sends the same two women every Tuesday. They do an excellent job. If I do have an issue with something, they take care of it immediately. I can add additional services (ie. oven cleaning) when I want. I love having the same team, because they know my house so well now. They are very sweet to my daughter and tolerate my crazy dog! Elaine also checks in periodically to make sure everything is going well with the service. The best part is how I feel walking through my house after they leave. Everything is immaculate, organized and fresh! Its as though I spent all day cleaning the house myself without the exhaustion or time away from my baby! I also like not using a larger company. It feels much more personal, which I want when someone is in my home. Highly recommend!

I have been using Elaine's services for a few years now. I have no complaints and I am very pleased with her work every week she comes by. Nothing is ever broken or ever misplaced. I am proud to say that I trust her as a friend and as a worker. I plan to continue services for a long time to come.
