It went very well. We had a few headaches from the city of Richmond (too be expected) on the demolition of the old structure, sewer and the driveway.... I'm still waiting on getting the driveway resolved.

We took bids from 5 local contractors. Charlene was recommended by a co-worker, whose house she had built. We saw the house and liked everything about it, and heard good review of her as contractor. Her bid was very competitive, and she also seemed to 'get' what we were looking for in terms of aesthetics. The work started on time and progressed steadily, despite several changes we requested along the way. She brought in very good carpenters, brick layers, tilers, etc and was constantly on the site, always quick to respond to questions and concerns. She seemed to take a personal interest in the success of the project. The addition turned out beautifully, and everyone marvels when they come over. We know several other folks who have had Charlene do work for them and they are always pleased. We are always happy to recommend EC Builders.
