Dependable Home Service

Get another contractor. Ernie Stevens is dishonest. He did not complete the work on our contract and tried to price gouge us the day before our house was to close, knowing that we were under the gun to get repairs done. These are repairs that were paid for, clearly listed on our contract that he stated was completed. When we inspected, they were not. Don't be fooled by Ernie's nice and easy-going appearance, he will try to rip you off. BBB complaint filed.

Ernie and his crew just finished a job for me. I have sliding glass doors (five of them) in my Florida room plus an entrance door to the deck. Two of the doors were rotted out along with the outside sill to the point where I had weeds growing in one end. There was also some rotting on another sliding door plus on the entrance door. I had Ernie replace all of the doors so they would match and we could actually slide all of them again. Ernie was always quick in returning my phone calls and always communicating with me to make me aware of what should/would be done next. The total cost was very reasonable, as along with new doors and screens, there was lots of trimming to do. Doors and trim are beautiful now and my Florida room feels like new. Thank you to Danny and Carter. I really do appreciate the attention to the details you went thru to make sure all is right. I also appreciate the extra little things you did while here. I will definitely be using Dependable Home Service again.

While I ultimately selected another contractor for the repair work, I would not hesitate to call Dependable Home Service in the future.
