D Hall Do It All

My mom and I bought the light fixture from Lowe's but she misplaced the receipt and was in the hospital when I had him come over to do the work.  We found that the chain that is supposed to hang from was missing and I didn't have enough light bulbs to put in the 9 light holders so he and his assistant went to the store to get them for us.  Before going to the store, they also made sure that all the parts needed for installing the toilet were there as well so they could pick things up if they weren't.  I found him when I'd gone to Home Depot to buy things for the house and saw his truck parked out front and got his business card.  He is very friendly and personable and I was originally looking for someone to aerate and reseed our lawn rather than the work I got him to do.  We picked someone else from Angie's List that does that as their main service because David was very open about the fact that he did not own his own aerator and that was not his main line of expertise even though he does "lawn maintenance."  I felt he was so open and personable that I wanted to give him some other work (the work he wound up doing) to do.  After seeing what a nice job he did and at such good rates, I asked him to now give me an estimate on remodeling my mom's master bath.  He has sent me photos of the work he did remodeling his assistant's parents' home and plans on taking me over to see it in person in the next several days.  We plan to get estimates from him on several projects we have to do around the house to include remodeling the master bath, redoing the rails on the screened in porch, and extending the porch.  Mom returned from the hospital 2 days after he did the work and was very happy about the job he did.  I would definitely recommend him to others.
