Custom Kitchens exceeded our expectations even for a high end remodeling company.  They kept to the schedule, cleaned up each day, were absolutely meticulous to details, and produced a remarkable design.  The master craftsman were top notch and worked hard.  There wasn't a day in which we did not have a full day of work done at the house by someone.  In the first 4 days, they demolished both a kitchen a bath, roughed in the plumbing and electric, and took down a wall while replacing a new header.  Having done many large house projects, there is always something unexpected, and they handled those minor situations perfectly.  Before the work began, the contractor gave us a 6 week schedule and they were within a couple days of that projected completion date.  That 6 week schedule told us what work was being done when and it was nearly perfect (never thought a contractor could do that).  In the end, the project was unbelievably well managed and the end product is awesome.

Went very well. It's hard for me to and quot;let goand quot; and not micromanage things. Once I realized I was impeding rather than helping, I backed off and let them do their job. After all, they've been in business a long time and know what they're doing. No complaints. I took any concerns to the project coordinator, and they handled it all. I know if a problem were to arise in the future, they would stand behind their work. I love my kitchen!

It looks big enough to be that much and I thought it was. The assurance to the schedule was absolutely right on. Everything was very well done such as the professionalism, attention to the details, protecting of the surrounding areas, and responsiveness to any issues or questions that we had. There's only one negative thing and that was I would have like for hand folding for selection of making all the decisions. What we had was we were told where to go to select things but putting it all together, it was like I was all on my own. It was fine to get what you want but I never did it before. I expect that they're kind of high. They have their own staff and everybody was great. The carpenter are their own staff and the others were contractor like electrical, plumbing, and granite.

It went really well. They were our main contractors and we had 5 other companies that did additional work. Custom Kitchens oversaw everything and it took about 10 weeks to complete. We could not have done this ourselves. Jennifer Duncan, the designer, was great and suggested great companies. For having a quarter of our home worked on, it wasn't bad. I was extremely pleased with the progress throughout and the final product.

It has been several years and my kitchen still works great with no issues. Custom Kitchens designed a more workable layout and then completed the work. Carpentry was outstanding - cabinetry and moldings are tremendous. Didn't remove anything until they were ready to install; as a result my kitchen was done before my neighbors even though they started weeks earlier. I've used other contractors - for bathroom renovation - but not nearly as professional or successful as my kitchen renovation. Best contractor I've ever dealt with. Worked out pricing and kept us informed when we deviated from budget.

The Custom Cabinet staff we very professional and responsive. Estimates were timely and well coordinated and the final product was exactly as we had envisioned. a problem with professionalism of their tile subcontractor and tile installation was resolved to our satisfaction. The tile subcontractor is the reason for the B rating on professionalism.

They took two and a half months to finish the work. I was very pleased with their services. They did our kitchen many years ago and I was very pleased with them. This time, they have done a really good job. They have excellent sub-contractors that they use. They don't use the cheap stuff. I paid for what I got. I had a budget. Then when the things went over the budget, they were able to work it out. They were late by one day because there was a miscommunication with the tile company.

It was a good experience. They come when they say they will and they complete the work in a timely manner. They don't always complete the work on their exact finish date but they are reasonably close to their targeted estimate date. It depends on their access to the house and the availability of building materials. They were on budget. Their price was better than I received from anyone else so it was competitive. I have used them many times.

Excellent work from start to finish. Custom Kitchens' designer and project manager, Terri Ulisse, was superb, helped us get the maximum out of a small kitchen, and was responsive to even the smallest problems. Plumbing and electrical subs were very good; workers were neat and orderly; i would call them to do other work. Cabinet installers and finish carpenters (Custom Kitchens' employees) were the best I've ever seen and it shows in the finished product. This company is not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Replaced kitchen floor, 2001. Owner even came to house to advise. Install excellent, flooring high quality off-brand. Excellent experince. Replaced countertops, 2008-went extremely well. Nice organization with Luck Stone allowed minimal timw w/o counters, had an issue with a seam not looking good, and it was redone immediately. Verypleased all the way around. Spring 2011- went to start planning process for new home kitchen design. Roughly a $60,000 job. Same woman who had facilitated countertops in '08. First meeting went nicely, to discuss basic needs/wants for new kitchen. At this point, our architect had completed general plans. We mentioned we were looking for high-quality builders, since we only had met one. She gave us a name of a builder she thought to be very good. Then, 2 things happened that really soured our once high opinion of CK. One, the. builder called us, which we found very unprofessional . Obviously, the CK designer had given our numbers! She had given us his number, so why was she giving him our info? It almost seemed a " I'll scratch your back,..." Then , which REALLY shocked us, she would not return phone calls and emails, at least a half dozen. We have no tolerance for this level of unprofessionalism. We would have been satisfied with a message saying she was busy and would contact at a later date, but we didn't even get that. Not a good sign of how the whole process might go... I called and spoke to management , complaining, and basically got an " I'm sorry it didn't work out. she's been busy." No attempt to make it right (set up a meeting with said designer; assign a new designer, ) So our impression is that they have all the business they need and customer service is not important. We were really dissapointed that it ended so badly, but at least we realized it early on and got out.

We have been long time customers of theirs. They are very attentive to the customer's needs and they always touch base while the people are doing the work. They always come by and see how it is going and see if we have any complaints. When it was finished they came back to see if it was to our satisfaction before we paid them. They keep track of us. Periodically they have a show with new equipment and they always invite us to come to that show to see what is new. They are very customer oriented. They do good quality work. The workers clean up at the end of the day and there is never any mess even if they are not done with their work. They leave it ship shape when they leave. They are very attentive to our needs. They do everything right. Their price is about average and they charge more than other places. Their quality and follow up are so good that it is worth more. They really aren’t that much out of line with anyone else. We’ve had several of the plastic hinges break on the cabinets and they will give us new ones. We wouldn’t go to anyone else.

The process was less painful than I had anticipated, and we are delighted with the results. All the CK personnel we dealt with were extremely professional and responsive. We have an older house with a relatively small space for the kitchen, but they took all the usual old house problems in stride. Designer Terri was very creative about use of space, and good at understanding our likes and dislikes. Installers Robert and Matt are the best finish carpenters I have ever used. There were a few glitrches along the way, but all quickly resolved. Custom Kitchens is not cheap, but good about staying within budget, We picked good quality cabinets, appliances, etc.,but although there were many more expensive options, we were never pressured to spend more. We feel the quality result we got is worth the price. If you appreciate quality work and are not just trying to do a cheap and superificial makeover, we highly recommend this firm.

I called the sales representative treated me like I was spending six figures. I was replacing the original kitchen countertops, and they treated me with respect and respected my house. They were on time and it took less than an hour for both projects, once all the materials came in.

It couldn't have gone any more smoothly. All contractors were there when they said they'd be there, all work was done promptly, both plumbing sub and countertop sub cleaned up after themselves and were extremely careful with both the demo and the install. Nothing broken, nothing scratched.

I love the way my kitchen looks and I think they did a really good job. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was that it was a very drawn out process and it took a lot longer then I was told it would. I don t complain too much because the end result was definitely worth the extra time it took. The guys that were doing the job were very professional and always friendly.

They did a good job and took a good amount of time completing the job. We had a vision of how we wanted to have the kitchen look and they helped us go threw things and find the right materials until that vision became a reality for us. They are a great company.
