Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
The man from the Commonwealth Renovations came, I told him what I was looking to do then he said that he works with somebody who does the actual design and layout of a new kitchen. That man came, looked at the space, measured it and that's the last I heard or saw either one of them. I wanted professional input on it. They come out and do the design for you and if you like then you'd probably hire them to do the actual renovation and construction. I was not expecting a detailed blueprint of the changes, just an artist's sketch of what could go where and that was all I was expecting but they never provided a design. I don't have an issue with his punctuality because he got here when he said he would.

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
This has been a dramatic situation. There was up to 300% mark up on the materials. They charged us $720 for a new tub, and it would have normally been around $250. The tub was actually damaged and patched. The grout and the tile work; the tile work was buckled, the grout was not clean. The toilet kept running because the floor was uneven and not leveled with a self leveling compound. It took them three weeks to complete the job, and they told us it would only take a week. This was our only shower, so we had to go that long without one. They did come back and replace the tub and the tile and the floor. The guy didn’t center out the mirror in the vanity, and when he fixed it, he removed some of the paint where my husband had painted. He attempted to fix this spot with grout. I would not recommend these contractors under any other circumstances. They did come out and fix the work, however it took an additional two months for this to happen.
