It went well. My review here is for my system start to finish. He installed my system around 7-8 years ago. The unit prior to this one I had troubles with it several times each year. Many cold nights. Columbia installed my latest unit and I haven't had a single bit of trouble. It is seldom you get such good service with such a quality product. Jay Harrison of Columbia inspected the house, top to bottom, to assess our needs. He was the only one of the three contractors that went under the house to look at the duct work in the crawl space. He found a section of ductwork that had fallen, which explains that being the coldest room in the house. He also recommended additional insulation for the main duct leading from the furnace in the garage.
Even though Jay added some repair work in addition to the HVAC system replacement, his quote was about $500 less than his closest competitor. He also provided an exceptional guarantee.
