We used Colonial Floors to refinish about 3,000 sq ft of hardwood floors as well as put in new hardwood to replace carpeting in our hallway. A big job! The owner, Evan, was very responsive and it was apparent upon meeting him that he really knows his stuff. His quote wasn't the cheapest one we got but we went with his company because he clearly knew more about hardwood floors than the other guys, and WOW, we made the right choice. The floors came out so gorgeous! Evan and his team helped steer us in the right direction to get the modern, natural look we wanted, which I know we never would have achieved without his guidance. Our house is transformed and I'm totally impressed. I will recommend Evan and Colonial Floors to everyone -- they are true professionals an the work is just perfection. Thanks, Evan!

We were very impressed with the job that Colonial Floors did with refinishing our hardwood floors. Evan, the owner, was completed involved throughout the entire process and did a very good job of explaining what to expect. We were impressed with his knowledge and caring attitude and his quote was very competitive. His crew was experienced and seem to take pride in doing a good job. We were very happy with the appearance of the floors and feel that we got a great value. We would highly recommend Evan and his crew…..they were great to work with.

They did an excellent job. Communicated with me every step of the way. Pleasure to deal with . They helped us determine stain and finish. Since this was a log cabin, we went with a Matt finish. Looks like they were just installed brand new.

It went well. Out of 3 companies, Colonial were the only company willing to refinish the originals without insisting on replacing the entire floor. They eventually matched the new boards to the old flooring with tinting and did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the results and would use Colonial again if needed.

Amazing. The floors turned out far better than I even hoped. The owner, the foreman, the helpers are all very respectful and very responsive. There was no mess left behind. The communication was so good, and I'm a worrywort. They were very respectful of my home. They were punctual and friendly, and the work was amazing. Colonial Floors gets my highest recommendation.

It went wonderfully. Evan and his crew were amazing! They were prompt, professional, courteous and kind. They went above and beyond my expectations of what I expected. My floors were in very bad shape. The previous owners did extensive damage to the wood flooring. Evan’s crew were able to save the floors. They sanded them down to the bare wood and refinished them. They look good as new! The color is beautiful! I recommend them to anyone who is looking for bang for their buck :)

Workers were professional and did a great job. Evan was super responsive about any questions or thoughts we had. Since the completion of the job, we had an installer in to do some tile work for us. He also happened to do floors. He said the job Colonial Floors of VA did for us was excellent, especially the feathering/matching of new wood to the old. He said it looked great because the matching part isn't easy to do! I liked hearing from another professional that it was a job well done.

SandFree did an excellent job to refinish and restore my floors (50+ years old)! They refinished floors in three bedrooms, closets, hallway, foyer, living and dining rooms; installed new wood in small areas due to recent remodeling; and installed shoe moulding. I could not be happier with the results and reasonable cost!! Evan and his team are experts. My dining room floor had very noticeable water damage; SandFree expertly sanded and stained, resulting in entire floor well-blended and less noticeable, I'm very pleased with the outcome! Highly recommend!!!

Evan and his crew were prompt, professional and really made sure my job would come out perfectly. It was a challenge as we renovate a 100 yo home and Evan helped us avoid issues by waiting till heat and major Reno was complete. Would definitely recommend them!
