wonderful. Location couldn't be better for me, and when my dog was sick
it was much easier than taking him across town. When he was sick he
stayed here a lot and the vet kept me updated constantly. Then when I
had to put him down the vet stayed in the room with me and was
absolutely wonderful.
I will say that I think they overcharge.
They
want to see pets 2x a year (more than I go myself, but they are
thorough) and routine exams are more expensive than other vets I have
gone to. Last year, I was given to a new vet, and he told me my cat
needed a dental cleaning, which was true, and then he quoted me
$800-1000 plus more for any extractions. I was devastated, because I
knew I couldn't afford that. I explained to him that I couldn't afford
it, and he told me to and quot;just save upand quot;.
I ended up being able to
take my cat to Helping Hands down the street for his cleaning (they
focus on pet surgery and dental care only at affordable rates) and I
went back to my wonderful and far more affordable vet. If you have the
extra money to spend, I do like most of the vets here a lot, I just
think that you could save money elsewhere.
