We worked with The Bookcase Place to design and build a large custom desk and a custom mudroom storage unit for hats, coats, keys, shoes, etc.  Bryan Eads spent several hours designing both pieces to be certain they would fit our spaces, look exactly like what we envisioned, and serve our needs.  This was an essential part of the process to avoid disappointment or surprise, and he absolutely kept us on track.  He was meticulous in his attention to detail, even providing options of moving something 1/2" this way or that.  His experience showed clearly in this part of the process and once we got all the details ironed out on paper, we knew the rest would follow.

Throughout the process, Bryan and Keith were totally accessible and responsive to a zillion questions.  They even let me peek at the mudroom unit (from a safe distance) while it was in process!  Installation was done by Bryan and Dan who showed up exactly on time and did exactly what they said they were going to do.  A couple of small hardware adjustments required in subsequent months were done quickly and without charge.

These guys do not disappoint.  They are perfectionists who know what they're doing.  These complex projects came together beautifully and are exactly, precisely, what we wanted and what they promised.   Everyone who sees them spends time first just looking at them for a few minutes and then can't resist running their fingers over the incredibly smooth, professional finish.  

You will not find more professional craftsmen.  As a bonus, they are among the nicest folks you will ever work with.

Bryan built custom bookshelves and cabinets on both sides of our fireplace about 7 years ago.  We since decided to join the two bookshelves with a proper mantle, columns, and trim.  He did a great job when he originally built the bookshelves/cabinets and also did a great job this time.  We were completely satisfied both times we have used his services.  Bryan does exceptional work and has superior eye to detail making sure everything is right.  He wants to make sure everything is exactly as requested and knows what needs to be done to fit or work within a given space.  I would use him again for any other projects and recommend him and his business highly to anyone looking or considering work.  We get compliments all the time on the work done and we are happy to tell others who did the work and make referrals.

They painted them, and delivered them. They were punctual, and they had them done in time for our move.
