B-Dazzled Carpet Cleaning

I guess you get what you pay for... I used B-Dazzled for the first time recently, because they offered a 3-room carpet cleaning special for $50. I was surprised when I called to book the appmt and learned they were backed up for more than three weeks. I was further put off later that day, when I received a confirmation email from B-Dazzled strongly (in bold print) encouraging me to give a generous gratuity to the carpet cleaners. An amount of $18 was suggested. When the day of cleaning finally arrived, two well-tattooed women showed up to do the work. They were polite, but immediately made it clear that the carpet cleaning was fairly basic and if I wanted them to do any pretreatment for spots, it would cost an additional $40. I passed on that and they went to work quickly, first vacuuming, then shampooing the carpets. I was underwhelmed with the quality of  the work, especially the vacuuming. They don't vacuum very thoroughly or closely to furniture. When they left, I found a couple mounds of dog hair they had missed, as well as other dust, etc., where furniture was on the carpet (not under the furniture, but in plain view). If their push vacuum won't do edges, they need to bring along a hand vac. It took them a little over an hour to do all three carpets. When they finished I was handed a printed flyer that essentially listed the names of the two women who had done the work and requested a gratuity of $18, due to "the very difficult economy". I can't recall in recent memory, being so blatantly hounded for a tip... except maybe in a strip club. Don't think I'll be calling these folks up again. P.S. They don't move or lift furniture, at all. Not even to insert foot pads.

I got it on a living social deal but the value of it was $180. They were not professional and I was just not pleased. I didn’t get my carpets cleaned and I thought I was going to get a professional carpet cleaner coming out to do this. It was 2 women in an unmarked car; they came into the house with portable steamer units that you get at a grocery store. I would not recommend them to anyone and I am glad that I didn’t pay the full price for their services. They did come with some paper and coordinating dress. It wasn’t a uniform but it was coordinating clothes.
