Mr. Goldman sent two men to my house to demo before any drywall work was done.  They performed work and Mr. Goldman told me that it was over and above the amount he had put  towards demo.  He did not tell me what the amount of demo was until that point.  He asked me to pay the people directly $1500, which I did.  He came out to the house to look at the work that they had done and said that more of hte house had to be demoed.  After that, I received many calls from the two men who had come to my house asking if I was ready for the drywall.  The entire time i was speaking to them, I assumed that they worked for Mr. Goldman, as he had sent them and they kept calling to ask if I was ready.  When I was ready,  I found out that Mr. Goldman had given my business to these two  men and that he was never going to do the drywall work.  In effect, he took money and did not perform any services. I called him and emailed him to return my deposit which he still has not done.  This is illegal in the state of Virginia and I am taking him to court.

Charles repaired a hole the plumber cut in the first floor ceiling to repair a leaking shower upstairs. Additionally he repaired numerous nail pops and drywall seam cracks on both floors from the house settling. He returned promptly to paint the repairs and complete the work. He was honest, reasonable, and did a great job on the drywall and the painting. I would highly recommend him.

Phone call was made and Mr. Goldman returned call and set up appointment to look at job all on the same day.  Time was set up for the following Monday.  Mr. Goldman called Monday morning to confirm and arrived at appointed time with another employee.  The two gentlemen were kind and courteous.  They were fast and did an excellent job.  They took about three hours and cleaned up before they left.  Very pleased with work done!

Mr. Goldman was very responsive, showed up on time, reviewed the job and wrote up a quote for me.  We agreed on the job price, and they started work within the next day or two.  Mr. Goldman was very responsive in letting me know how the job was going and listening to my concerns.  Work was finished up and I had a painter come out and paint the whole area.  The stucco may not have been applied quite as carefully as I would have liked to match the existing stucco, but it was a hard texture to match.  After painting it came out ok.  I did have to scrape up a couple globs of stucco mix that had dripped along the back porch when I went to go paint it.....but overall the job went well and I was happy with the work.

Charlie from Ace Drywall submitted a bid which was very reasonable given the amount of work. Very professional - showed up on time with the proper equipment. Work was performed on time and on budget. Looks great. We would highly recommend Ace Drywall.

The work went well. The contractor, Charles Goldman,  was there by 11, provided an estimate, left to pickup supplies and was back on the the job by 12. The job proceeded apace and the last coat was on by 4pm. The appearance is outstanding and my wife is well pleased. 
We've a number of other small jobs requiring plaster repair and drywall and we intend to have Ace do them.

He came the same day and did the estimate and the work. He was very affordable, but definitely not a perfectionist. He didn't do a rough and finish coat, so I had to do a bit of finish sanding to get the areas smooth and even a bit of additional patch work where small bubbles had formed. He also didn't tape the woodwork so I had to do a bit of clean up of plaster splatters. In fairness, though, I did not call him to see if he would do these things to my satisfaction. I was eager to paint and went on and did it myself. If you are looking for cheap and quick, he fits the bill.

He has done plaster work for me for 8 years. He charges less than anybody else. He is the only one that does plaster work in town and he does it right. He never charges as much as I think it is going to be. He is incredible with plaster. He has had the same men working for him for years. I expect dust but there is none. He puts plastic on our furniture. He backs his work 100%. He is good to his word.
