A 1 CONTRACTORS

I had used this company several times in the past with great success. Their work was good and prices reasonable. HOWEVER, I contacted them to come out to look at and repair two leaks in my roof. They said that they would be out on Saturday but alas, they didn't show up or call. After many attempts, I finally reached them about 2 weeks later and they said (again) that they would be out on Monday but if their schedule permitted they might be able to make it on Saturday. Both Saturday and Monday came and went with no phone call and they didn't show up again. It's time to find another company that can meet their promises.

Company offered us a guaranteed deal to fix the leak at $175 and they'd come back until the work was right. They did come out right away (a positive) and tried to fix it. The leak wasn't fixed and rain continued to come in. Trying to get them back to fix it was a nightmare. Wouldn't return calls, said they'd come and didn't. This went on for weeks. They'd say they would be there, they wouldn't be and then it would rain. We finally demanded our money back, they said they'd send it over and over and never did. Finally had to threaten legal action to get it back. We got someone else to fix it. This was a tiny job for them, and in fairness, I did hear good things about them from a friend. Maybe they're better to work with on bigger jobs. But I'd never use them again.

I like the fact that A 1 was willing to come out right away and fix this problem for me. Other companies that I called were not ready to do that right away. They wanted me to wait weeks before they would come out. This company is a good company. They do repairs and other things as well as roofs. They really took the time to do things right. I am very pleased with it all.
