Half the house was already in the 50s when we called this morning. The office called the crew, who were at another site, and called back, concerned about our steep and snowy driveway. We promised to do as much as we could to get them access. As soon as they finished the other call, they showed up, examined the heat pump, which is in a rather inaccessible crawlspace, spent a half hour working on it, and then called up to have the heat turned on. And voila, we were in business, a fan had burned out.
This is by no means our first experience with these people. They have worked on our heating since we first got a heat pump, I think 36 years ago, and have always been very responsive, very efficient, and very effective. Although we do not have a bill yet for today, they are also very reasonable.
When you live in a rural area and are dependent on electric heat, you need that kind of quick action, and they have never disappointed us.
compressor (outside unit). It took close to an hour for them to find and replace the part that was causing the problem. It would have been easy enough for them to tell me that the entire unit needed to be replaced but Mr Dunaway told me the the unit would likely last
for several more years after the repair.
I am able to trust this company to do quality work and to do only what is needed to keep my HVAC systems in top condition.
