insurance companies
 + -1 moreThey are the second or third largest insurance broker in the country. Their commissions are paid for by the insurance companies. I recommend them because of their professionalism and knowledge of the markets. They negotiate the price and always get us the lowest price. They do a really good job.
Description of Work: Wells Fargo is an excellent insurance broker. They buy and provide a number of different insurances, including health insurance, for us so they are a broker

 + -1 moreOne low rate was give to us, discussed and written to us in emails. At closing another rate was slipped in (as a variable rate instead of the fixed we had been promised). We did not figure this out for quite a while and Wells Fargo was not willing to do anything to fix this. Our agent (Mike Kruse)laughed at us. We were also hit with a $500 penalty for closing the loan three months shy of three years. Avoid Wells Fargo and Mike Kruse like the plague!!!
Description of Work: Wells Fargo/Mike Kruse obtained a loan for us for our townhouse in 2003. The first part of the loan was done beautifully. The second part of the loan the second trust/line of equity was not done properly. We were told it was a locked in rate (when in fact it was not) it was variable. This was never disclosed to us and cost our family hundreds of dollars in error. When we figured out the error, there was little that could be done. So, basically we were told one thing and another was presented to us at settlement.

 + -1 moreI HAVE BEEN USING WELLS FARGO FOR YEARS AND THEIR RATES AND SERVICES HAVE BEEN GREAT. EVERY TIME I REFINANCE IT HAS BEEN A VERY SMOOTH PROCESS. QUICK RESPONSES AND VERY EASY CLOSINGS.
