Very well and the technicians were very neat and friendly.

Communications were touch and go. Initial meeting for estimate was prompt, follow up was not, I had to call back to confirm and set up actual visit after waiting almost a week. But in the end Chip and crew squeezed me in when I told him I had urgency due to another contractor appointment coming the next day.

Found Xavier by calling another tree company (found on Angie's List) who said they refer all of their stump work to him.  Called him and gave him a description of what we needed.  Only thing we forgot to arrange with him was the removal of all the chipped wood but Xavier is coming by to get that for us.

I live in an area with a lot of trees, growing in small areas. Depending on their location, some of these trees are owned by private homeowners, and some are owned by the homeowners association. These trees required regular, routine care. Xavier Services was recommended to me by the homeowners association because of work done on the association's trees. Xavier's work on my trees and bushes was excellent. I needed small crepe myrtles, dogwood tree, and hollies to be pruned, as well as large leyland cypresses, maple, and poplar trees. This work required special skill because of the small area these trees and bushes grow in and, therefore, grow over sidewalks, houses, and other people's property. Xavier is very responsive and thoughtful; he is a certified arborist and clearly loves trees. I am not very good at such things, and Xavier helped me by volunteering to fertilize my trees and bushes for me. Especially significant was he pruning of a pine tree close to my property. It was not clear who owned this pine tree, me or the association; however, there were dead branches on the tree. Xavier saw that children wanted to swing on these dead branches. He was concerned that the children would get hurt if these branches came down, and Xavier removed these danger branches, on his own. Xavier Services is an exceptional company!

He's done large projects to small things. He does anything with trees. He will come drop off wood chips at your home for free if you need them. He did a major job to take out a huge oak. We had to have a crane here to lift out the tree from our yard,and he was the one who coordinated the whole things. He has even decorated the lights on my Christmas tree! His estimates, always seem to come out lower than everyone else! He is really good with cleanup, he always cleans up everything.

After the contract to do the work was signed, I found it very difficult to contact the owner and see when the work was scheduled. Eventually set a time and date. Showed up when scheduled with three men and equipment. Job was completed in two hours, but I was not happy with the work performed on two trees (out of four). Tried to contact the owner, but he never responded. Finished the job myself.

Very well. They showed up when they said they would, they mulched all of the tree stumps and branches and swept up all the debris. I have used this company 3-4 times before, always satisfactorily.
